A wonderful property. My goodness. Such a peaceful walk. I was reassured by the hosts when I told them this was our first sniff spot outing. Very kind and understanding of reactive doggos and how stressful a first outing to a new place can be.

The area was very private and big! There are clearly marked trails so we knew where to stick to. We had a nice break with our dog Howie at one of the benches, and he had a nice and long sniff around the area. When we left 1.5hrs later, Howie was so tired but really really happy!

We tried this location for the first time yesterday, and the dogs had a blast! Hosts were very communicative and helpful with my questions. There is a customer Porta-Potty on site which I very much appreciate. There were 3 trails available; 2 very well marked, one not marked, but easy to follow. Based on other reviews I expected a more extensive trail system, but perhaps the other trails will be open again soon? The trails that were open were very well maintained, and wonderful to walk. There is a large pond on the property, but access is very limited. I only found two spots to get to the water, and neither spot was really accessible for the dogs to swim. Just very naturalized, and not conducive for dog swimming. We did find a smaller pond off one of the side shoots between two of the campsites, and the dogs were able to get a little bit of swimming in there. Again it's very naturalized so there wasn't a big area to swim, but they still had a blast! Bugs as expected, not too bad while moving, but descended upon you while stationary, lol! But that's the time of year it is right now. The host very kindly provided water stations periodically throughout the trail system which was fantastic. Lots of places to stop, and a cute cabin that you can pose at if you're so inclined. Parking is right at the road, so definitely make sure your dogs are leashed. The trail system has exit signs which is great to remind you to leash up before you get too close to the road. We heard people, and we heard the chickens, but we didn't bump into a single soul. The host usually do greet, but were out at the time of my visit. But they made sure to be reachable via messages for any of my questions. There does not appear to be a poop receptacle anywhere on the property, so you do have to bring that home with you. It'd be lovely if one could be provided, cuz it makes for a stinky ride home, lol! Overall we had a fantastic experience, and the dogs had a great time!

Great wooded spot! My dog loved running through the forest and down the trails. The foliage around the pond was too tall and thick for my short legged pup, but he had a great time.

My dogs and the time of there life!!! What a beautiful spot!! I do have 1 suggestion and that would maybe to clear a small spot by the pond for the dogs to swim and maybe a chair or table so we could sit while they swam. Will definitely rent this spot agin. 2 very happy smelly wet dogs!!!

I was my first visit to a sniffspot and I was so happy to have picked this spot as my first! Nala had every freedom and experience she loved! The. forest, the trails and most of all the pond! It was a wonderful experience for pup and human! Thank you

Was a wonderful and peaceful environment for my reactive dog's training. He loved being off leash. Signage and trails were excellent. Thanks for sharing your beautiful spot. The rest areas were a nice perk!

I love a pup's paradise, but not as much as Jac loves it! The trails are clearly marked, and the walk in the woods is so relaxing and beautiful, and Jac is running non-stop.

This was our first time to Mike and Annie’s property and it was beautiful. Our girl struggles with some strong feelings towards other dogs but loves to do trail walks and sniffing and this completely made her day. The trails are easy to follow and well marked. There is so much to explore. Completely recommend checking it out!

Our walk was great. The trail markers were very easy to spot and follow. For a first time there I didn’t have to worry about getting lost. It was a great place to let my large dog explore off leash, we didn’t see any other people or animals.

Beautiful spot! Probably my top 2 (if not #1!) The trail is beautiful and well maintained. The owners were extremely friendly and pleasant. It was a much needed walk for me with my dogs, and the peace and quiet - a great escape out of the city. And a great way to celebrate my dog’s birthday. An extra plus today was that the weather is amazing - cool and not too hot, so little to no bugs! Looking forward to our next visit very soon!
