I work at a local shelter and i started this spot to help our shelter dogs who need a break from the shelter, have a place to go enjoy time with their humans besties or dogs who don’t have yards and/or can’t enjoy public dog parks. 2 people per dog max. My backyard dog park is filled with toys, obstacles, and more fun than you’ll find anywhere else. -my neighbors do have dogs but there is a big distance and privacy fence in between my yard and theirs. It hasn’t seem to disturb my guests with their (reactive) dogs much at all yet. She often puts them away if they get too much. Aside from the driveway before you enter, there is no direct barrier to their fence. This is not a good place for aggressive dogs for this reason, and because our neighbors have a dog (visible through the fence). We have multiple gardens, several trees, a playhouse, playground with slide, firepit, stacked wood, a compost pile, a greenhouse & shed, a sandbox (please don’t allow dog to pee or poop here) and a little dome made out of sticks. We have a covered back porch with chairs and also chairs by the firepit. We have a small patch of open dirt that pups can dig in. There is a hose with a filter if pup needs water. We can provide a poop bag if you need one, but would prefer you bring your own. We provide hand sanitizer for guests. Have fun!

A kiddie pool is available on warm days, and a hose is on-site for filling water bowls or the pool. Please remember to clean up after your dog—pooper scoopers and trash cans are provided. (Please request equipment when booking your spot.) For the humans, we offer WiFi, chairs, a trash can, and a fire pit in yard number 2 (with firewood and kindling available around the yard).
