55Such an amazing spot! The yard is so giant, even the biggest dogs could get a great workout running around here. There's lots of toys and cute little agility things for the dogs to play with/on. This was the perfect spot to bring my high energy pup! The host was amazing and offered to hide treats for my boy to find, and she did, but my boy was too distracted by the tub of ropes and balls (Ball is life is his personal mantra!). There's a place for your poo bags, there's a place to sit and there's plenty of space to play and run your dog! Will definitely be a regular here!!

We really liked this Sniffspot! We went with the sole intent to practice off leash recall but there was so much space that we ended up playing a lot of full-on running fetch because there was a bin full of balls. Bonus: we were pleasantly surprised that despite having a lot of rain recently, the yard was mud-free. We'll be back!

55This yard was just perfect for our two dogs—a corgi and a mini poodle. It's huge with good sniffing spots at the back. Beautiful, well-maintained grass, and lovely sitting space for us humans. Totally safe without big gaps under the tall fence. There are a couple of small spaces under it but the dogs can only fit their nose into them.
This yard is just gold for apartment pups like ours who cannot be around other dogs. It's super private and quiet. They even ran into a rabbit and chased it away... Lol.
Don't forget to bring water and a ball. And sturdy shoes for yourself if you want to run around with the dogs because there are some small patches of grass that feel a little bit moisty. 😉

FAQ about our Arva dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 94% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Arva area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 73 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 15 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
