55This is one of the best spots we’ve been to!! There is plenty of space in the yard to run around in, it is open to the state route so I would make sure your pup has reliable recall/a leash, but we spent most of our time at the river. There’s a short trail that you can walk along the river bank and there are plenty of places to enter the water. It is very muddy, so be sure to bring a towel and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty! It was slow moving and had multiple depths so it’s great for first timers or pro swimmers. The host mentioned there are other properties on the river, but we didn’t see or hear anyone else. The spot was very clean, the host had a trash can for poop bags and also had the bonfire going when we arrived. She quickly answered all of my questions prior to booking, and everything was clearly marked. We will definitely be back! Rachael Y.
