While there are some cacti in the field, we had no issues and the mowed trails are clear of pricklies and are very well kept for sensitive feet. The fence is very secure, which is something I value having a dog with a high prey drive and who is a bit of an escape artist. The horses are always so sweet and unbothered by the dogs. And the property is fabulous!!! So much space, smells, and beautiful views. One minor thing that I noticed when wandering the property with Coco was a few cacti, so just be sure to check your pups feet…. However, that was never a problem for us! Unfortunately, when she saw the horses she became very curious and was able to slip right into one of the enclosures through a gap between the gate and the fence. My dog is 40 pounds and pretty lean, I was shocked that she was able to slip right through it. The perimeter of the fence is excellent, it is nicely secured.
