55We loved this spot! The host showed us to the gate as soon as we arrived, and the field was lovely! There were paths mowed out of the grass so it was easy to traverse, and our pup had a great time running around. Bonus: the view is spectacular and it turned out to be a great spot for birding!Summer A.

55Absolutely beautiful spot and will return at a cooler time of day! Had to leave earlier than expected due to the heat and not a ton of shade. Meghan L.

55My pup and I absolutely LOVED this spot! A great amount of space to run and wander. George met us at the driveway and showed us the way to the spot, he was so kind and patient with my shy pup. I kept an eye on the fencing on our first lap around and had no concerns of the fencing not keeping my girl contained. We will definitely be back!!Ren C.

55This sweet spot provided unexpected respite for an exasperated threesome of dogs & person yesterday afternoon! An unexpected storm hit Longmont while I was driving nearby and knocked a good 10 degrees off the thermometer. With little confidence, I checked Sniffspot to see if anything was open in the area and found this charming gem just a few minutes drive away. George was so kind to give me a little tour which helped me practice getting a highly motivated hunting dog into the large spaces with my miserably arthritic hands trying to hold on for dear life. The dogs LOVED it- chasing birds, splooting in the shade, and putting all fours into the fresh water buckets! The sun came out and the heat reignited so we only stayed a half an hour, but it was a splendid time of refreshment! We'll be back, hopefully while the lavender is still blooming! Thanks so much!yaya k.

55George is fantastic! Amazing gem just outside of town. Fencing is good all the way around the 6.5 acre section for the dogs. Very peaceful spot to just let my GSP run and chase birds, play fetch and do some training all in the same place. I also really appreciated the fact George is there to greet you on your first visit to show you around.
Thank you George, Boone and I will be back!Matt C.

55Terrific location and nice big field. Very little shade, fyi. My girl is dog reactive and we didn’t see or hear any other dogs during our visit. George’s first time tour was great and we will definitely be back. The mowed perimeter and paths are helpful for humans and the smaller front area is perfect for training or resting in more traditional grass (not prairie grasses). Erica I.

55This place is AWESOME. The property is absolutely massive. The fencing is good; my dog who's a high jumper didn't consider jumping it. The owner, George, is very friendly. On your first visit, he greets you and shows you around. Plenty of water is provided for the dogs, and there's even poop bags and a few dog toys provided as well. This spot is PERFECT for dogs who love to run free and explore.Rylan R.

FAQ About Longmont Dog Parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 2% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Longmont area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 303 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 409 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
