Second time using this location on Sniffspot and it’s heaven! We bring our girl Zoe here who is 5 months to interact with her litter mate and they love it!
55Had a wonderful first visit with my cattle dog! He loved the big bowl of ice water (maybe a bit too much?) and had fun training and playing in a new place.
If you have a dog working through reactivity to other dogs, this is a great spot to gain some incremental exposure with low risk. We saw one other dog (super neutral) in a neighboring yard, with plenty of distance and a secure fence to work the distraction and return to play.
If you have a herding dog who goes for cars, consider crating in the backseat (passenger side) instead of the trunk to minimize exposure as you walk to the yard. My dude’s car reactivity is still moderate to severe, and it was the perfect training opportunity for him.
Overall: a great spot here in Boulder! Thank you!

55Kristy’s property is great! My pup enjoyed traipsing through the snow and sniffing all the things. She’s not a huge fan of the cold weather, but having somewhere new to explore was a great incentive for her to brave the chilly temps! Beth M.

The only issue (and this is not the homeowners’ fault) is that people don’t clean up after their pets on the raised area. There was a lot of pet waste there. Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers).
