I was traveling home from the holidays and was looking for a safe halfway point to stop and let my dog out to run around and stretch his legs. This was right on our way.
I will echo what others have said — these aren’t well marked hiking trails, so if you’re not used to being in the woods, it might not be for you. We had great service the whole time and the highway is right there, so I think it would be extremely difficult to get lost. But if you can’t let your dog off leash and/or would be uncomfortable with steep terrain, this isn’t for you. For us it suited our needs! Thanks so much! Rachel S.
