55This spot was so great! I took my personal dog and a client dog here to let them romp around and decompress (client dog just welcomed a new baby to her family!). Easy parking, and easy access to backyard. Thank you so much, we will be back!Ivy B.

55Nice little spot, especially when you just want something easy/simple for a quick zoomie session! And host Rachel has been super nice, and very welcoming, on both occasions that I've seen her 😊Lizzi M.

55Lovely, quiet spot that was just as described. Yard was clean and securely fenced. My dog had a great time exploring without fear of running into other dogs - a rare experience for her that I would like to repeat more often. Would gladly visit again!Hannah L.

55This is a great fenced in yard. Matches the description. I had reached out to host with a heads up about my reactive dog (for the safety of herself and her pets) and she answered quickly and was very understanding. Will most definitely be back. Kate S.

55The yard was securely fenced and backs up to woods. It was a little muddy (it rained the last two days). There were some toys in the backyard that my dogs had fun with. I will be back soon! Sara F.

55Backyard was fully fenced, with secure chain link. Gate was fully functioning, and with minimal gaps. The fenced area was on the smaller side, but it had a deck with seating, an open grassy area, and an area under the porch to explore. It definitely served the purpose I needed it for, which was to practice recall in a safe, secured, enclosed area, and drain a bit of energy in the process. Being a Husky puppy owner, this can be hard to come by, lol. I felt my dog was 100% secured in this enclosure. Very secure fencing. This sniffspot was also very easy to find. Go down the long driveway at the end of the road. To the right of the home, there is a paved walkway to the gate. The host popped in to say hi, and was very friendly, hospitable, and welcoming :^) We noticed their dogs inside, but I don't think you would if you go on a weekday, because the host told me that they take their dogs to work with them. All in all, glad we checked it out. It's def nice to be able to add another fenced area to the list! :^)Lizzi M.

FAQ About Cape Elizabeth Dog Parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 7% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Cape Elizabeth area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
