This place is absolutely amazing and having 3 dogs, one being dog reactive I really appreciate the price being affordable and Susan offering a discount for multiple dogs. We hit the trails and then had some fun in the open area! A beautiful spot that is well worth the drive and the price. We will 100% be back soon!

This was SUCH a great location! We took all of the trails, and Susan’s property is absolutely stunning. It was great for our dog who loves to run off leash and explore, and he had an absolute blast. The hike is quite steep, but not too long at all which was perfect.

What a beautiful spot! Susan very easy to work with and was so fast to answer any questions I had. My dog had such a great time running through the woods. I came with my fit 75 year old mom who was able to manage the terrain quite well, other than needing a hand to get over the creek. We never did find the hilltop; however, collectively we have the worst sense of direction in the world, so it's likely not that hard to find. It was cold and raining but the woods provided lovely shelter from both, and I'm pretty sure my dog enjoyed it more than a dry sunny day. Will visit again with my less directionally challenged hubs to check out the Hilltop ; ) Thanks Susan!

Beautiful property! I’m envious that the owners get to enjoy this piece of land & thankful that they are generous enough to let others enjoy it as well. :) We will definitely become regulars here.

We really enjoyed visiting Susan's property. The trails were well-maintained and marked. Susan was incredibly helpful before and during our visit. Our dog is reactive to strangers, so Susan and her family were kind enough to stay inside the house when we arrived and left. It was such a relief to have a nice walk without any negative reactions or stress.

A fantastic spot for a fall hike with our pupper. We enjoyed the hills, the various trails and the amazing view! We’ll be booking again soon!

This place was amazing! The main trail was easy to follow, and for those pups and peeps seeking a little more adventure the hilltop in the woods is the place to be (keep your eyes out for the signs!). A huge bonus that Susan let us in on was the amazing lookout point past the farmer field! Susan is super responsive and we are definitely coming back! Thank you for opening up and sharing such a wonderful spot!

Fantastic place! The trails are so great but if u want to finish the trails definitely book more than one hour. Will come back again!

Beautiful Sniffspot with great trails! We booked this as a last minute surprise for our dog’s birthday, and he loved sniffing and exploring in the woods, and running around in the wide open grassy areas. We didn’t get to check out the whole property because it was very hot that day, but we would definitely visit again if we’re back in the area. Thanks Susan!

This was THE BEST Sniffspot we've been to so far! Our pups had a blast exploring the acreage. It was so nice to hike some trails without worrying about being rushed by off leash dogs or other surprises! Thanks so much!

We had a fantastic walk at Pinewood Trails! We have lived in Peterborough for the last year and we weren't able to find a trail that allowed off leash dogs. This is such a great option, as we knew we wouldn't run into anyone on the trail and it allowed our dog to run and explore. The trails were well maintained and we came across two deer! My dog Leerie had a blast and we will definitely be back soon.

We all had such a great time exploring Susan's place today! Prior to booking, Susan was very kind and prompt in answering all of my questions. The space is beautiful and well kept, so we definitely seized the opportunity to do a mini photoshoot! Unfortunately, I didn't get to go up to the hilltop since one of our dogs has mobility issues, but my husband and the other dog went and he said it's a gorgeous view! Just remember to bring bug repellent - the mosquitoes were out to feast! Would definitely recommend! 10/10!

What a beautiful property, wonderful trails. Gorgeous views. Enjoyed a wonderful hike, the creek, pond and hilltop. Can’t wait to come back again on a sunny day ☀️ It was so nice to see Egypt be able to enjoy the trails without the stress of other dogs or people.

This spot was amazing! So much space for my dogs to roam and sniff all they want. We had fun in the field and on the trails. There is plenty of space for them to be off leash but make sure they have great recall as it is a large forested area. The trilliums are blooming right now on one of the trails and it’s beautiful. It is tick season and we took 6 off our two dogs after almost 2 hours in the forest. We found another 2 when we got home so definitely a hot spot for them so come prepared. We had so much fun and are definitely coming back! Thanks again for a great time!

The trails are lovely and the host was so sweet! My dog had a blast! There are trails, fields, a creek and a pond! Definitely recommend!

A gorgeous property, beautifully maintained, with a fun hike up to an amazing view. I wish I lived closer for more visits! Next time I will book at least a couple hours, there were more trails to explore and it was lovely just to relax for a few minutes up at the cabin. I'm not sure who enjoyed it more, me or my dogs!

We had a great time walking the trails. They were well marked and very clear. The forest wasn’t super grown in either, so my dog could run off trail and meet back up with me. The view from the top of the hill where the fire pit is was awesome. I’m sure it would be great to have a fire up there. There’s a running creek and a pond. Part of one trail did cut through the creek, so depending on time of year you’d be best off wearing waterproof shoes as I had to walk through the water. There is an open area with a picnic table which was a good resting spot for me (my calves were not ready for the hill up to the cabin), while my dog could explore around. There are chickens in the front yard (enclosed) but if your dog is likely to react to them I’d recommend keeping them on leash until you’re into the trail system. I could also hear a small dog barking near the cabin at the end of the farmer’s trail which wasn’t a problem for us and they seemed far away, but might be good to note.

A great spot! The trails were well marked and clear. The host was very responsive and let us know the trail conditions in advance, so we made sure to wear proper footwear. There is a pond (not well suited for swimming, but it did not stop my retriever) and a small creek to cool off. We will be visiting again!
