55This spot is AMAZING!!! How is it not more popular?? Brought my 6 pack, and we spent 2hrs exploring the trails and hit the ponds...and we didn't get everywhere yet! The property is absolutely stunning. The trails are wide, and well maintained. They're not marked much, but it's very obvious where they are. The grass wasn't super recently mowed on some trails, but it didn't affect a damn thing, lol! The ponds are beautiful, and crystal clear. This is a true dream property. And absolutely my favourite sniffspot thus far!
- Ponds can actually be swam in by your dogs. Big enough to run and jump in after toys as well!
- Easy parking, and tucked from the road so unloading/loading not stressful for large groups of dogs.
- outhouse on site for humans! And station to dispose of dog poop by parking, so you don't have to take it home.
- Absolutely BEAUTIFUL forest and scenery. Variation in trees. Some hills, but nothing excessive. Lots to explore! Clear enough that you can see your dogs easily when they run off trail as well!
- One of the least bug populated properties I've been to recently. I know that's seasonal and that's something people can't control, but while there were bugs, it wasn't a constant blanket which was lovely! So a good choice for the crazy deerfly season we are currently in.

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks.
