55There is public parking directly next to the house and a gate to the yard for entry. The place is very big and is completely fenced, although does have some areas with bushes and trees where your dog could get into some mischief - so some recall would be helpful! The host left a bowl out with some water for my dog. Will be returning. Nicole M.

55My dog LOVED this spot. It's a cold front in January and he still wanted to play in the water, so get ready for the fur babies to get wet if you have a water lover! On the brightside, he could drink the water as he needed! The house owner did mention they have towels and toys available- we brought our own this time and didnt need them, but it's so great they have that option! The grass was super green, even in the winter, which I noticed because my dog loves grazing. The place was entirely fenced in, except for the water if you have a super determined pup that wants to swim free. My dog definitely noticed and went right for those areas (ducks straight ahead and the housing to the right beyond the beach and bushy area), so it was a good recall test and I could see the wheels turning whether to listen or not when I called him to come back 😂 (teenager era)! Not sure if he would successfuly have been able to get free, but worth mentioning if you have a swimmer. I can't wait to come back in the summer with his life vest, he is going to fall in love even more and hopefully will get a chance to swim. Beautiful views and plenty of space to play fetch and explore! Kat W.

It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks.
