Our SniffSpot Play Yard is fully fenced in with a 6ft tall wooden privacy fence. We have 19 wooded acres with our boarding facility being located at the South end of our property, the owners personal residence in the middle and our private SniffSpot play yard at the North end of our property. We do have a nice walking trail that meanders through our property but please be aware that our Playful Pups Retreat Staff may be walking overnight boarding dogs on the trail during our business hours. There is a container with a few toys to play with inside the SniffSpot yard but we do suggest bringing your own toys. Please bring poop bags and clean up after your pet. Please take bags of poop with you or stop at Playful Pups and dispose of it in one of our outdoor trash receptacles. FOR NOISE SENSITIVE DOGS! PLEASE BE AWARE WE DO HAVE A GUN CLUB NOT FAR FROM THIS PLAY YARD. DEPENDING ON THE DAY THERE MAY BE GUNFIRE. NOTE: If you want to walk your pup on our nature trail please stop in at Playful Pups and speak to one of our reception team.

Park in our driveway and explore the woods with your pup. Our trails are often muddy, especially when it’s been rainy, so come prepared. We are sure to keep our dog, Rosie, inside during your visit!

You may bring your dog to our fully fenced in backyard to run around off leash. We have a gazebo that you are able to sit under and enjoy watching your pup. You may also rent a kiddie pool for your dog to cool off for an extra $5 on those hot summer days!

I am about 1.5 miles from route 283 so if you are traveling and need a sniff spot, I am right here! I just added a very basic wash station.

Wylie's Dog Yard is a fully fenced half acre grass area located between a cow pasture and a pond. It includes a few trees that provide shade. This beautiful spot is a great place for dogs to run and chase balls.

Roulette's Retreat - in honor of our dog who we lost to cancer. Conveniently located near Route 74 and Route 30. Fully fenced with 5ft chain link - the neighbor does have one dog that may be outside. The fences are over 10 feet apart. Small, simple yard with enough room for zoomies & fetch. The concrete patio in the backyard has a table and chairs with a shade sail over it. There are multiple areas for your pup to sniff: -Meadow with walking trails -Horse corrals that are semi-fenced in (thick vine & brush enclosing it with small opening, will put out gate if available or bring your own to enclose completely) -Pond your pup is welcome to use if they like water The neighbors have horses & cows. There are feral cats, deer & other wildlife around so just be aware when exploring! We have 2 dogs who we keep inside when there’s visitors but you may hear they’re barking, please refrain from visiting directly around the house. Part of the walking trail goes past beehives (there is the option of taking another part of the trail). Please do not go past the power line poles at the top of the meadow & do not go past our barn down below. If any questions or concerns please reach out!

0.5 acre fully fenced in yard in the Hanover Borough. Relax by the fire pit under the lights or in the shade on our ample seating arrangements while your pup or pups run around the yard. Lawn is well maintained and poop is cleaned up regularly using provided poop bags for deposit. Separate gate and private back parking with alley access lends itself to a private yard that any pup would enjoy, along with private parking for the pup “paw-ents.” Water bowls are provided and can be filled using the back tap. Trees provide a sense of privacy right in the heart of the Borough. The 5 ft tall fence and yard area provides an area for running that any dog would enjoy! Treats are provided for the pups to top off the experience!

I have a roughly 800 square ft yard with fencing all around. 😊 I also have a bench, chairs, and firepit available for use (must bring own wood). My porch is screened in as well with seating and a table, but I would appreciate extra notice if you plan to be up there using it. There is also parking for 1 car in front of the gate to the yard (which is the entry/exit), and a playground also directly across the street ! You are welcome to come in and use my restroom if I am home, otherwise there are porta potties by the playground. The trash can is by the road. (Yellow lid is recycling)
