The neighbor with the cows also has a dog that was sitting on their back porch while I was there. However my dog-reactive pup didn't even notice it and it was very well behaved. The spot is near an airstrip and there just happened to be an airshow taking place while we were here, so we enjoyed sitting on the hill, watching the planes come and go. Such a beautiful area, especially with the fall leaves.
Entrance was very easy to find and the ground wasn't too soft, no worries about getting the car stuck.

I was curious to see how our dog would do with the partial fencing, but for the most part the fencing was several horizontal wires- enough to create a clear barrier that he didn’t ever try to cross. The grass was quite high at the time we went- which our long-legged Doberman loved to prance though and explore and smell. (But for which my daughter wished she had worn pants- next time!) At the picnic table there’s a Rubbermaid full of helpful items- poop bags, balls, towels, water bowl, blankets, a large pair of rain boots, wound kit, treats, etc.
