My three pups had the best time at Amber’s Dog Park! They ran around, played fetch, sniffed every inch of the grass, and relaxed in the shade. The spot was super clean, fully fenced, and had fresh water and toys ready to go. Everything felt really safe and well set up. She is an 8 lb chihuahua and I was a bit worried about smaller spots she might get into that may not be a consideration for larger dogs, but she was perfectly safe here. Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks.
