55I brought my 2 aussi-mix sisters, Lavender and Didi, to this wonderful yard. Well-fenced and big enough for a flat out run but not too big that I couldn’t see the dogs at all times. There was water in a bottle on the table and 2 large water bowls plus treats and waste baggies. Some stuffed toys were strewn about too! Lots of shady seating for humans. It was an absolute joy to see my girls run like greyhounds all over the place. Lots of tail wags and tongue-lolling smiles. If you have a sneaky escape artist like me, keep an eye on the gate area because it’s just possible to wriggle under. The rest of the yard is flush to the ground.

55A nice big clean yard. The patio area was great. When we got there they had provided toys water and a bed. Jake got to run himself silly which is all we were hoping for. As a bonus, there is a beautiful garden just across the fence. If we ever find ourselves in this area again we will definitely stop again Phillip D.

I definitely highly recommend, and would only suggest watching the temps for heat-sensitive dogs like ours since it is in full sun, so next time we might try to come even earlier when the temps are closer to 60s. We have a 7 year old retired racing greyhound and unfortunately they are not endurance dogs and are known for intense speeds for a short time, so she only ran for about 10 minutes before being completely wiped. But we still got to enjoy the other 50 minutes lounging under the shaded pergola while Winnie laid in her dog bed recovering. Imagine what a full hour would do for a dog that had the stamina for it! Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers).
