Our private, off-leash park, located just outside of Philomath city limits, is for dogs of all ages, sizes, and behavior levels. Easy access with parking only a few feet away. Additional space for extra large vehicles to park, including motorhomes or trucks. Reactive dogs are welcome! We offer the use of a large, fenced, level field for training, play time, or socializing. There is plenty of room to run, play fetch, or enjoy the wading pool in warm weather, with no unwelcome direct contact with other dogs or people. You are also welcome to add fur friends to your reservation; just please keep me posted if you will need to park more than two vehicles.

This is a fenced, grassy, fairly rough pasture a short drive out of town, perfect for training and playing with your dog. Chairs and picnic table available. Note: during heavy rains in the winter months the field will be closed due to the wear and tear on the grass. Closures will be noted in the title page. There is a small drainage ditch in one corner of the field. A bowl and faucet is available for your use during warm weather, there is detergent there if you want to clean out the bowl. However, water will be turned off during winter. As of Nov, 2024 it is not available.

Rainy season update: we will continue to be open throughout the winter, even with all the rain. It is going to be muddy, but hopefully not too bad. To cut down on the mud, we won't be taking the tractor in to fill holes, so please watch your step when walking around. Close to downtown Corvallis, come let your dog run free and just be a dog for a little while. Our newly fenced in area is a work in progress and we will be adding more things to do for pups and their humans. If there is anything you would like to see added in the future, please don't hesitate to let us know.

If your pup likes water this spot is perfect for you. There will be goats in the area they are nice. They will leave you alone. There is a large willow tree that provides amazing cool shade during the warm months and protection from the weather during rainy months. There is some standing water in parts of the fields during rainy seasons. Please pick up after your dogs. There are fruit trees on site. Feel free to take as much as you would like for yourself, your livestock or for compost! If you loved your visit, please share your experience with family and friends! **Interesting ecological fact if you see rainbow coloring on top of some of the standing water… it is NOT from chemicals or an oil slick. Here’s the explanation. 🙂 A common naturally occurring oily sheen originates from the seed cones of cypress trees. The cones usually fall into the water below the cypress, and an obvious rainbow sheen forms on the surface around the seed pod. In puddles of woodlands or around the edges of stagnant or very slowly moving water, it is common to find sheens covering the water in and about leaves and other vegetation. It is tempting to wonder what form of pollution resulted in the sheens, but the answer is microscopic - and natural. Tiny iron-loving bacteria of many types may be involved. A common tale is that some species of bacteria that live in areas with no oxygen (anaerobic conditions) get their energy by converting Ferric Iron (Fe III) to Ferrous Iron (Fe II) (chemists call this process reduction). As the Ferrous Iron moves through the ground water, it encounters water with oxygen, chemically fuses with the oxygen (chemists call this oxidation), then precipitates (separates from the water) and floats on the surface as a colorful sheen. There are species of bacteria that may help accelerate the oxidation process, and the most common is Theobacillis ferroxidans. At times, a significant area of the water’s surface may be covered and the sheen is as reflective as a mirror, having little rainbow-effect.

30 unfenced acres of tall grass and trees a bit swampy in the lower area in the winter. But quiet and lovely. Lots of fruits you are welcome too in the summer and fall. Also home to deer and birds (who prefer to be left alone). Couple of comfy chairs and a table to enjoy a glass with the sunset. Please be respectful of our neighbors, and pick up after your selves and your pups. Much of the property is being reforested please do not disturb the trees and shrubs.

The property is a horse ranch on 25 acres surrounded by private forest. There is a shallow year round creek that is refreshingly cold and also a large pond that your dog can swim in. There are hiking trails that start at the edge of the property. The trails are mostly uphill. The outdoor and indoor arenas are available for an extra fee. They are mostly dog proof for large dogs but not escape proof for small dogs. The horses wander around the property early in the morning so if your dog chases horses it should be kept on a leash around the horses. I recommend that I show you around your first time out here. To get here you must be prepared to drive down 5 miles of gravel road. There is a gate to get into the property. The gate code will be sent to you with the welcoming message. Cell phone signals are weak once you get on the gravel so check the pre-visit message sent two hours before the appointment before you get out of cell service.

Come play or just hang out and relax at our peaceful quiet 3 fully fenced acres with a seasonal creek loads of open space to play fetch or just romp around. There is a kiddy pool available for splashing (seasonally)and a tunnel, weave poles, teeter totter, shute, tunnels and some other toys available. If you are lucky you could see deer elk or even an eagle or the cow's next door. There are chairs to sit in out in the back pasture in the shade. Lots of toys and open space to run and sniff. We do have neighbors with dogs and other animals.

23 beautiful acres with amazing views of the valley below. Good mix of fields woodlands short and long grass. A small creek runs thru the property. This is a small private homestead, we do have goats, chickens and ducks. Also a flower garden and fruit and nut trees. The front part of the property is fenced, but the rest of the acreage is not. We also have 2 doggy poop stations for you to dispose of all the gifts your pooch may leave behind. At the top of the hill there are 2 Adirondack chairs for you to catch your breath and take in the spectacular view, as well as a seating area in the woods!

The pasture has perimeter field fencing. There may on occasion be large animals like sheep or horses grazing in a nearby pasture, DO NOT allow your dog to harass the animals. Any pasture with farm animals should not be entered, there are separate gates to each section of pasture. If you notice animals in the pasture when you've arranged to use it, please knock on the door and we will assist you or direct you to an open pasture.

We have about 4 acres of flat grassy land for your pups to play on. We are currently working on fencing our entire property. We expect this to be completed by January 19th.

With grape vines over a half-century old, Kristin Hill Winery is deeply rooted in the Eola-Amity Hills. Kristin Hill Winery embraces old-world wine-making styles with traditional European oak barrel-aging which builds depth and character while highlighting the grapes themselves. We have two designated gravel RV spots to the side of our field and we will sometimes have guests, with and without dogs. This is a working farm and we have crews and farm equipment that work much of the time. While you will be in a designated area it might be a little noisy from time to time. Update as we approach harvest: Fall is harvest time in the vineyard! With this we will be limiting our availability. Please reach out before booking if you would like to stay with us during this time(approximately September to end of October weather depending).
