Welcome to our safe haven! In this club, there is no such thing as a bad dog and ALL dogs and humans (including the little ones!) are welcome and loved. I am the proud mama of two fearful and reactive dogs and work as a trainer and caregiver specializing in fear-based aggression and reactivity. We built this yard specifically for fence jumpers and dogs that need and deserve a quiet and private space to play and feel safe. Our spot’s entrance is remotely controlled, allowing us to ensure there is zero risk of anyone entering the yard during your visit, and that folks arrive and leave at the right times for ultimate safety. When you arrive, you’ll hear me say hi over the Ring cameras and buzz you in! (Deaf or hard of hearing folks, just let me know and I’ll share detailed written instructions to ensure you’re able to get in safely and easily without the need to hear me! 💜) We believe our guests deserve security and privacy, and will never enter the yard unless you have specifically requested that we do (i.e. if there is an emergency and you have expressly asked me to come out to the yard and help you). While you’re here, the space is yours and yours alone. Please ensure your SniffSpot notifications are on so I can message you if people are walking by on the street before you exit the gate! Our yard is spacious, wooded, and green with full 8ft privacy fencing including inwardly-angled fence extenders. Doggie extras: get ready for wooded trails, “barkour” obstacles, the perfect grassy bowled lawn for fetch, agility jumps and tunnels, a tennis ball bit, and so much more. For the humans - we hope you’ll enjoy our Adirondack chairs, snacks, and when it’s warm, our hammock chairs and swing set. We have about 1/3 of an acre that our house sits on. The backyard is fully fenced and is a great size for throwing balls, letting your dog run around. The area behind the house is quiet and peaceful and spacious. There is Chuck sticks and frisbees, but you have to bring your own balls. I always provide freshwater and dog treats and there are chairs for people to sit while their dogs run around. Also the home of Critterville self pet wash, if the dog gets stinky after it runs around it can get a warm bath before it goes home if the pet wash is available at that time. There is a sign to the left of the garage door that says Sniff Spot park here you can walk around the left side of the house and enter the backyard from that gate. Follow the signs.
