55My two dogs had a very nice outing. I appreciate that much of the area was mowed which it made it easier for me, as I am older, to walk. Other interesting areas were left natural for the dogs to explore.
I found only three play balls left on the property. Unfortunately, if one of my dogs finds a mangled ball, especially a tennis ball, he promptly eats it. That results in a trip to the vet and the worry of getting him to throw it up. One tennis ball was in bad shape and the other two were hard rubber, but still a problem. I threw them all out. I would appreciate other users take their balls home with them as I did. And it’s also good , as the area gets mowed or other maintenance is done, that all toys be removed, even shreds of felt or other toy coverings. (I tossed three pieces of felt…)
All in all, a very enjoyable visit. We will be back…Barbara C.

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks.
