55This spot was perfect for my reactive pups! There were some curious farm pets near the entrance but the gated area felt safe and secure for my boys to run around off leash, will definitely be returning!Elisebeth L.

55So others don’t make the same mistake I did, the gate/location is before the house ( I will post a picture) My young bloodhound was more interested in the farm animals at first. It was great to have a second gate to keep him more focused on the play area. There are a couple of wood/garden piles along the fence that I had to keep an eye on. Didn’t want the bloodhound to climb on them and jump the fence. All in all, this was a perfect long run area for him to get out some puppy energy. I will need to remember to bring him some water & a bowl. Christe S.

55We had another fantastic day sprinting at this beautiful spot. It’s clean, the owners left potty bags and a few waste cans. I can’t get over the beautiful scenery. There’s goats my pup got to see, on the other side of the fence, they were friendly with my grandson. Mary R.

55Great spot to really get out and walk.I got a nice feeling i'm having been on a hike it was great. I had some moments of where am I for sure. And moments of doubt thinking I was lost but it was part of the fun.The trail markers , we're very important so grateful. I enjoyed the terrain.I had to think about where I put my feet and enjoyed going up and down and navigating the rocks and various Natural ground trail. The hour went by really fast.I will for sure be back. Koma had a great time and took himself off trail and explored. I let him choose which trails to go down most of the time we just followed his nose. Oh yeah one last thing the host was lovely and helpful.L. W.

FAQ About Rainier Dog Parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 1% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Rainier area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 238 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 354 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
