55My dogs loved the acre's of open grass, they were kept super busy with all the scent trails.
The pathways leading down to the trout springs were maintained well and a easy to follow.
The cool clear water is why we travel so far to this Sniffspot, there's nothing like it with in a 100 miles that I know of.

55Beautiful spot to enjoy a sniffari! We played ball in the field, walked the path down by the water, and saw trout and bald eagles. Easy to get to and map of the property was helpful. Sniffspot was as described so we were careful about the fencing. If you’re not used to hiking through areas that can have brush and tall grasses, like along streams/rivers/creeks/lakes, just ensure either you don’t walk through areas that may snag clothing or wear clothing less likely to snag. Carefully and quietly walking through a little brush was worth being able to see a lot of different spots up close along the river. There are several open spots along the river that were completely cleared along the edge so you could see down in the water, too. Some areas have almost have a slope area making water accessible, but some do have a few feet drop. My 75# water-loving dog had to find an alternative way to get back up the embankment when he sniffed to close to the edge. This river has trout, which are smart and also sensitive to environmental conditions, so if you or your dog enter the water or the trout feel the vibrations through the water from your steps, they will swim away. They will also swim away at sight of either of you or your shadows.Jessica K.

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks.
