My husky mix had a blast running to his heart's content at this spot! It was open and had shady spots under a tree and an umbrella, plus there were chairs for the humans. The humans also enjoyed the play structure that was there too! He most enjoyed watching the livestock in the adjacent area. It was quiet (minus the livestock sounds which we didn't mind!) and couldn't hear the road traffic from the spot. My dog was able to stick his head between the fencing that was separating the spot from the adjacent livestock area, so smaller (or leaner) dogs might be able to get their shoulders through. Look forward to visiting again!

Even better than we expected! My dog loved it and was exhausted from running after the ball within 20 mins :) The alpacas were hardly a distraction for my typically very observant dog. Will be back for sure.

Great spot to let your dogs roam free. Our two little puppers loved it!! We will definitely love to come again.

Lovely spot! I brought my foster pup & she was able to run around in the grass and then we sat together under some shade while she watched the farm animals (I’m sure it was the first time she’d seen them!). The garden you walk through to get to the pasture is gorgeous. There were some dogs in the front yard barking quite a bit when we arrived that initially gave me some pause since my foster is still working through her reactivity, but after getting her through to the back, I was relieved that it was much quieter there. Definitely plan on coming back - thank you for sharing your space!

My favorite Sniffspot is open again! Such a perfect place to let Koda run free! (And for me to get some steps in!). You will likely hear dogs as you’re walking back to the Sniffspot area, but once in the enclosed area, we heard nothing. You will likely see sheep and alpacas but not bothersome at all. Kind of cool actually! Only negative is there was no water (and Santa Paula can get warm) but I always carry water for Koda in the car so not a biggie. Love this spot!

My dogs really enjoyed this spot! It was easy to figure out where to go with the signs posted, and although there were other dogs heard barking, it didn’t trigger my dogs thankfully! They were curious about the livestock but were distracted pretty much the whole time. Very nice grass area for them to run around and I suggest to bring your own balls and a bowl for water. Will definitely be returning thank you so much!

My dogs had a great time exploring the pasture and burning off some energy. They were very curious about the alpaca & sheep, but were able to contain their enthusiasm enough to do some training and play "find-it" games in exchange for treats. Thank you for opening your property to us! We can't wait to come back again.

This sniff spot was AMAZING!! It was so beautiful and clean and my malinois got to see sheep and alpacas and run around a TON in the enclosed area. We’ll absolutely be back. Thank you, host!!

Super great for my dog! There was a bucket of water there for him and bags in case you didn’t bring your own. Secure area so you don’t have to worry about your dog getting out either.

My dog Oso had a great time! He enjoyed the smells and chasing the ball. There was so much space and we loved seeing the sheep and alpacas. Directions were easy to follow.

I brought a shelter dog to the spot today for a break from the shelter. He loved it just as much as my Koda loved it yesterday!

Just what I imagined a Sniffspot to be! Almost everything was clearly marked (except the first gate at the beginning of the garden…Make sure you walk all the way through the garden). Nice sized area, fully-fenced (although if you have a jumper, the shorter fence might be an issue). The alpacas and sheep were so adorable and were very curious about my dog but once Koda barked a little and ran the fence a couple of times, he ignored them…but they continued to watch us. So cute. Lots of area for dogs to run and play. Nice little walking path around the edge of the pasture so us humans to get our steps in. The garden that you walk through to get to the pasture (with dog leashed) is beautiful and serene…even calming music playing. Only negative was that there was a lot of alpaca (I assume) poop in the pasture, but it didn’t smell and apparently is harmless to pets. Overall, great spot! Koda and I will definitely be back!

I have 3 pups & no yard so this was the perfect spot to throw the ball for them so they can get in some exercise. They had a blast and are all knocked out from their event. Debra’s home and area is amazing. Easy to find, a short (beautiful by the way) walk to spot & you are there. There’s grass for the dogs, a playground for kids if they join you, & I cannot not mention the adorable alpacas that were watching my dogs run around. We will definitely be back soon.
