I kept Rosie on a long line for this first visit as it is fenced but Rosie has jumped fences that high before so I didn't want to risk it. I may try her off lead the next time we are there. She's a rescue so I'm still in the process of training her. Anyway, the property was huge and lots of fun to explore! The host was very friendly and the instructions and directions were very clear. 55Great spot to let your dog(s) run free. We have a Great Pyrenees and a Border Collie. Surely the collie has a ton of energy so it was a great place to let her get some energy out. Even the Pyrenees ran quite a bit. A little pond for swimming was great for them. Small peaks and valleys on the property made it fun to play hide and seek with them when they can’t see you but only hear you. Owner came out to greet us and was super nice and helpful. Justin L.

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks.
