Big yard with lots of places to run, sniff, play, and explore! Shady and sunny areas. Yard NEVER muddy. Sloped with big trees and evergreen needles covering dirt. Lots of sticks for carrying and chewing. Most dogs are very interested in my shed. At least 1 bunny lives underneath. If you have a digger, hunter, critter-playing dog, I would love for them to erase my nuisance that eats a few of my plants in my yard. Also, willing to dogsit any delightful dogs at my house if you need someone to watch your dog.

Conveniently located next to a public trail access, and located within private property. The lawn is a mix of short grass and soft moss, this is regularly maintained and never sprayed with chemicals or fertilizers. Fully fenced on all four sides with no low spots\gaps. One secured swinging gate at the entrance. Dedicated parking along the road just before the house and is clearly marked with a sign! The table next to the fenced area has a mailbox with hand sanitizer and other goodies, there is also a water\food bowl available. (I have a hose on the side of the house you are welcome to use) Please dispose of any used poop bags and other trash in the little blue trash bin under the table. The road next to the fenced area is privately owned, so the only people and vehicles that pass by are residents and delivery couriers but they are not very visible due to the difference in elevation. People occasionally pass by on the public trail and some do bring their pets, but it is mostly obscured from view by the trees on our property and separated by two sets of fences. Note that we are within hearing distance from a sportsman club\firing range, so at times there may be noise. Please reach out with any questions you may have!

UPDATE as of May 2 Spot #2 is now closed for the season. Spot 1 is dried out, and other than a couple small soft spots is free from puddles or major mud. We’ve spread bark on any soft spots, and will keep an eye on conditions. If water/ mud conditions change we will make spot #2 available again. For now we need to be planting and so will be more active in the front area. 1 acre of flat field in a beautiful setting. One large tree in the corner. Fully fenced approx 4.5’ with predator fencing. We have motion lights that come on at night, not super bright but makes the spot visible during early night winters. Boarded by two, large pastures, a private road with limited use and our barn. Occasionally during the wet months flocks of geese/ducks may land in the wetlands adjacent. We have goats, turkeys, geese, ducks and chickens but they are on the other side of the property and should not be seen/heard. We have two dogs, Veles and Flora, that will be on the other side of the property or in the house. There is a covered bench and trash can in the spot, fresh water is also available. An outdoor bathroom is available for use, see map. When using the bathroom please keep your pup in your car as it is near our goats and free range chickens. Grass is mowed regularly and lots of bushes and smells for your pup to explore. Human seating below the deck. Magical Mossy Forest Sniffspot is a large mystical woodland adventure for dogs in Redmond on the way to Carnation. Boots are recommended in the winter rain. MMF is preferred by puppies, dogs, people, adults and kids alike because it has potable water, power, picnic tables, chairs, several firepits, lit portapotties, 3 swing sets, 3 slides, monkey bars, 3 Forts, a log bridge to cross over Little Ames Creek for when the creek is flowing, a doggy playground, lots of picturesque moss, lighted parking lot, woodchip trails and many footpaths over 5 forested moss covered acres. Parking is near the road, separated by 50 ft of woods, so we suggest that all our doggy friends be leashed until they are on the trails with you. Please leash your dog until into the forest away from the parking area, after that Bob's Your Uncle! Watch kids and dogs in the parking area near the road, and at Ames Creek. A secluded place to dork out and have fun, enjoying a natural Pacific rainforest. Note that the creek is dry in midsummer until the fall and winter rains kick in. Boots are recommended in the fall and winter. Find a map of the main trails in a photo on our MMF Sniffspot site. There are lots of foot trails through the understory ferns. The log bridge can be used to cross Ames Creek, or you can ford it to discover the rest of Magical Mossy Forest Sniffspot. Please pack out doggy bags with you because there is no garbage pickup here, please leave no trace. If there is a downpour and you want to wait it out there is a dry shed in the parking area. Access to power helps keep your batteries charged. Please carry your toilet paper (sorry it walks away). The portapotties are cleaned once a week. Once a stop on the Gig Harbor Garden Tour, this property boasts a variety of terrain to keep your pup(s) busy for hours. We are at the end of a private lane, and the back of the property abuts to 50 acres of DNR. Sightings of cattle, wild peacocks, deer, raccoons and grouse are common. Make yourself (and family) at home around the fire pit, small orchard, tree house, trampoline, flagstone paths and trails. Good shoes highly recommended. NOTE: Sniffspot is promoting their “Sniffpass”, and they have the box automatically checked to “Opt in” when you make a booking. This is out of my control. I do not want my guests to feel Sniffpass is necessary to book my spot. We have one Sniffspot pasture. The totally secure fully fenced Sniffspot pasture is on your left as you come up the driveway. Enter through the gate next to the American Flag. Be aware of the Alpaca in the separate fenced pasture above the Sniffspot pasture. There is also a hose at the bottom of the stairs on the north side of the building to rinse off your pup's paws if needed. WINTER 2024 UPDATE: The wetland in the pasture is filling up with the rains and can get to be 1-2 feet deep. Bring a towel to dry off your dog! WATER/HOSE -- We have a hose available for use * upon request * we must be home to turn the water on, please message us if you would like the water turned on and we will do our best to accommodate. -------- Two adjacent and connected pasture fenced yards totaling almost one acre including mixed long grass/dirt/wild flowers, beautiful old trees and sloped terrain above and below. No known hazards aside from hilly terrain and some blackberry brambles (we are diligently fighting them). In rainy months Nov-April there is a shallow pond/wetland (bring a towel). Fencing is all new 5' agricultural fencing secure for dogs of all sizes. Enjoy the serene space with a creek just beyond the fencing. Many songbirds too! Upper pasture features a playset with slides and swings. Two benches for sitting. Maybe not suitable for very tiny dogs due to eagles/ hawks. Private!!! Closed toed shoes recommended as well as mosquito repellent in summer especially at dawn and dusk. Hose may be available with advanced notice. Fully fenced with 6' cedar fencing, which means your dog won't see cars, people, or other dogs passing by once you're in the yard. No neighbor dogs bordering any side of the fence, which keeps it peaceful and lessens anxiety. There is lighting under the magnolia tree and along the fences and buildings to help you enjoy your evening visit. Private, off-street parking for at least two vehicles is provided in the driveway for your convenience. Please let us know if you need parking for more than two vehicles and we can make arrangements. Our comfy patio furniture with seating for 5 and a table are covered from the rain so you can stay dry while your pup gets their energy out (an additional 3 camping chairs can be provided upon advance request). Try lounging in the shaded hammock for the ultimate relaxation. Invite some friends, bring some food and drinks, and have a good time hanging out while your pups play! We provide a few toys for your use including tug toys and a ball and chuck-it, please return to the toy bucket when finished. Have your dog try out our tree-mounted tug toy for a fun challenge! We provide a clean bowl and a jug of water for you to pour fresh water for your pup (and often fill the bowl for you before your arrival). Poop bags are provided for your convenience. An umbrella is provided for your use in case of rain, as well as a headlamp to help find balls or poop in the dark. To minimize the spread of illness, please do not bring your dog to visit if it is sick. Our backyard is fenced and ideal for reactive dogs and those looking for a quiet and calm place to enjoy Note: it is not ideal for: - barkers due to the close proximity to neighboring houses - heavy runners Back yard is set back from sidewalk and street with a greenhouse where you can get out of the weather that includes a chair, toys, poo bags, water and a dog bed. Ample space with mature plants to sniff, roll and laze. Most neighbors have dogs including one to our south that borders our chain link fence so he can be seen when in his back yard.

Chase some balls, dig for moles, wrestle around and have fun!!! NOTE: Google Maps gives bad directions! Google says my driveway is off the neighbors Private road labeled 121 dr. My Driveway Entrace is ON 84th St. Look for the pink mailbox with white vynyl fence. See pictures. Field Access is private entrance from the right back side of shop through chain link gate. Parking is on the front right side of shop, in front of chainlink gate. Field gets very soft and wet when raining, suggest to wear waterproof shoes and towels for Fido. I have a separate fenced backyard for my Fido. There is a chainlink fence on one side with visibility to the neighbors backyard with chickens, dogs, and children.

High Rock meadow is a 2+ acre securely-fenced natural meadow, surrounded by forest. Please note that this is NOT a manicured lawn space; it is a sloping meadow with uneven footing and heavy ground cover. You can explore a network of walking trails that wind through the perimeter forest, while your dogs romp in the meadow and zoom along the trails. There is no end to sniffing material in this 2-acre playground! Again, the terrain in this spot is uneven and sloping, with some steep areas on the trails and possible muddy areas. Sturdy shoes or boots are recommended. Those with mobility issues may have difficulty moving about in this spot. Additionally, we are located in a rural neighborhood and there are times when neighbors practice shooting. This is more likely to happen on weekends, so please keep this in mind when scheduling with dogs who are distressed by loud noises. I'm currently accepting bookings up to 1 month out. Finally, I use a Facebook page to post pictures, videos, updates, last minute openings & discount codes, etc. related to our spot. Please like or follow our page if you are interested. We have 4 acres with creek running in front of our property along the road. The road is a two lane road with a speed limit of 25. Our road dead end at a kids summer camp (2miles away). We do have two dogs that play regularly in our backyard and love to zoom around and play ball. It’s about 7-10 degrees cooler at our place with many trees. We do have people walking down the road and back, some walking dogs. Closest neighbor is an acre away but voices carry so you do hear people talking sometimes.

The back yard where you’ll be is all grass with a small patio area surrounded by a secure 6 foot wood fence with a double gated entry. A canopy was just added over the picnic table so there’s a fry space to sit or stand during your visit. We have a table, chairs, and patio umbrellas you’re welcome to use if they’re out as well as any dog toys. Please note that the patio umbrellas are put away during the fall and winter seasons. If it’s raining during your visit or your dog(s) will be doing water play (seasonal extra), I’ll provide a towel(s). There is a power outlet next to the slider you’re welcome to use.
