The space was super super clean and had so many extra bonuses (clean outhouse, bottled water tons of nice dogs toys etc) One of my pups is a HUGE escape artist. He can literally get out of anywhere and this spot kept him secure even though he spent a solid 30 mins looking for a way out. My pups can be reactive and they weren’t bothered by the horses as they are far away. Even though the house is on a busy road when you in the field you could never tell which is great if you have pups triggered by cars/motorcycles.
I have three dogs all different ages and sizes (3yr old 40lb, 1 yr old 65lbs and 7.5yr and 180lbs) between the three of them they are just about reactive to everything and this spot didn’t have any of their triggers. I highly recommend!!Morgan S.

55In case anyone missed it: I noticed a sign today that says they'll be closed from mid March until sometime in May. This is to reseed, plant trees, and do work on the fence.

One of my pups has managed to escape all other sniff spots that say they are fenced secure but not this one and he is a professional escape artist! 55This is a great field for running around. And the host was very helpful to show us the space. Fencing was quite secure. The host also helpfully pointed out where the neighbor's dog is. You have to walk by their yard to get to the sniffspot, so that was hard for my extremely reactive dog, but their dog is super calm and didn't engage at all. Reactive to basically everything, an escape artist that digs under everything, an escape that jumps over everything and the list goes. This spot is the only sniff spot (we have tried many) that is 100% safe for my pups and allows me to relax and not be worried there is an issue. The fence is insanely secure for dogs of all sizes! My dog has escaped from every sniff spot that said they were 100% secure except for this one. We come here frequently and it is pristine ever visit we have. No dog poop, any holes that moles have dug are always filled in and everything is so clean. I very much appreciate how the holes are always filled and level as my Great Dane is elderly and clumsy and holes can be very dangerous for him. There is a huge variety of clean toys for the pups to play with, chilled water in a mini frig plenty of seating, tables, covering if you want to just watch your pups and super clean bathroom. You can see horses in the distance which is usually a major trigger for one of mine but they are far enough away that the dogs aren’t bothered. There is a driveway and a lot of yard space between the spot and the horses. The positioning of the space has beautiful views but more importantly you can’t see the road or ppl walking,biking etc if that is an issue. There are clean towels you can use but this spot is never that muddy that we need to use them. I know this spot is temporarily closing for updates which honestly idk how they could make this any better than it already is. We are so sad they are temporarily closing as this is the only safe spot for my crew to be able to run and play. You can tell from the pics that this spot will make pups tired! Morgan S.

FAQ about our Touchet small dog parks
Are small dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by park users so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars.
How can I find small dog parks in Touchet?
There are 11 small dog parks in the Touchet area. The most popular small dog park is . You can browse all of our small dog parks here.
How do I know if a small dog park works for my dog?
Start by applying basic filters, such as fencing and distractions, to find a dog park that works for your furry friends. If your dog doesn't respond to owner commands, you can visit one of our enclosed dog park areas. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our small dog park sites where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can see any park amenities provided, including a park bench, water for dogs or water features such as kiddie pool or water hose. If your dog loves water, you can go to a park with water features, but if they don't love water, you can avoid them. We also recommend reading reviews to check for park maintenance issues and reaching out to the host with any questions. And lastly, of course, check park hours. Many of our parks are open from dawn until dusk.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot park?
We require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that owners sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. We also require that pet owners follow safety protocols around water features.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot park at the same time as me?
Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
If you are planning an amazing small dog park party, each Sniffspot park has their own rules regarding special events. Many parks allow doggie birthday parties, training, water parties and other event types. Event organizers need to be responsible for their guests and event organizers should coordinate with the host regarding their fun party. Make sure the park has amenities you need for your party, such as a park with lots of picnic tables with park benches.
