*** Happy 2025!! *** This year marks the 3rd year I have been open, and it has been such an amazing experience. I have loved seeing every one of the dogs and meeting all of you owners! I was able to add a few improvements this year which I hoped helped in the areas it was needed. I still have a long list to fulfill and as always, I am open to suggestions, what is needed, what is not needed! Again, I am always open to and appreciate feedback. Thank you ALL for making such a great thing even better by your participation and enjoying the space that we feel blessed to be able to offer. * Just a reminder that it is always flea and tick season. We do not treat the pastures with any spray so be mindful about using whatever treatment your vet recommends. *I am repairing part of the pasture that is on my side of the property, this is going to cause me to need the far far back pasture for the use of my horses more often. If you see them in the far back field, just consider that area closed. I do try and move them over off of it for most of the week. 11/1/2025 Updates. Hot/Cold wash on hold. We are going into the WET season, I will try and have towels out but always suggest bringing some. Consider weather appropriate attire. The barn offers coverage, but it can still be windy and cold in there as well. We added more granite to safely pull all the way in and park. ** PLEASE DO NOT TURN AROUND IN THE YARD OR THE PASTURE ** it will start to get too wet to pull all the way in off the granite areas and vehicles will get stuck. And this tears up the pasture, yard area. I am trying to come up with shaded areas in the far far back pasture. That may take more planning and time. But it is on the list. We also dug the small pond a little deeper and boy howdy is the water flowing right now!

Rural Meadows & Forested Dog Park 5 miles outside of Rogue River

Unfenced
5 acres

We own 40 beautiful acres that back up to BLM government forest land up the mountain. You can enjoy a smaller lower meadow that has meadow grass with a picnic table, and an in ground burn pit with seating or choose a slightly larger more rustic meadow that offers a nice open space that's another great spot for dogs to be free and enjoy being dogs! Either meadow is great for playing fetch, where you can throw frisbees, balls, or other toys. It's a great training ground, bring your training items or it's a nice place to just hang out together, like day camping. Make a day out of it and use an available propane BBQ to cook up some hot dogs or burgers (bring your own food) while you enjoy hanging with your fur babies. If you feel like hiking up rough mountain terrain, you can, if that's your thing. We have several picnic tables, and BBQ's, as well as hoses for water (April through September), and a year round porta potty. We also have a large dog cage option if needed, (let us know). We look forward to hosting you at your Dog fun space in the country! All Water Service is only available April through September annually, so please know that other months the water spickets are Winterized, due to freezing pipe protection. You can bring your own dog water dish and if there is no freezing, you can use one of 3 water spickets to fill. Please be sure to turn it off if no water comes out - so our well doesn't run dry when it thaws. Thank you! Winter months it's best to just bring your own water and dish.

Grace Dog Park in Myrtle Creek

Fully Fenced
1 acre

Welcome! First-time guests receive a $5 discount with the coupon code "TRYTHESPOT25”. Conveniently located less than one mile off Interstate-5 at exit 103. This exit features a gas station, Starbucks, Grocery Outlet, Tesla charging stations, McDonald’s, Tractor Supply (dog toys!), a donut shop, Dollar Tree, and more. Fall update: The green grass is just starting to grow again! This approximately one-acre park is fully fenced with brand new 5’ tall non-climb wire fencing. There are two gates for access: a walk-through gate if you choose to park on the wide gravel shoulder along the road, and a drive-through gate which allows you to bring your vehicle inside the park onto a large gravel parking area to unload your furry friends. Inside the park you will find a gently sloped grassy field with some nice flat areas also. There is a 12'x14' covered shelter to keep you out of the rain or sun. We have a real, vintage fire hydrant for your dog’s “enjoyment”. There several play structures for the pups: a 3-tiered platform with ramps, dog jumps, a balance beam, and a long bench-like platform. Dogs only on the play features please - not for humans to climb on. There are also multiple resin benches around the park for your enjoyment. In the summer a small wading pool is available for you to use for cooling of the pups-always monitor your dogs or children if using the wading pool. Some rock wall terraces about 2’ to 3’ tall can be used for sitting, and for your larger breed dogs to jump up and down on. There are Adirondack chairs and a large wooden picnic table for the humans as well as the dogs (our Lab loves to jump up on top and take in the view). A water hydrant provides fresh water from our local municipal water source, Tri City Water, and you will find water pails for every size of dog. Nearby is a mailbox with doo doo bags, hand sanitizer, wet wipes, and paper towels. You will also find two wooden crates: one filled with an assortment of toys, and the other provides a nice stick library for your pooch to choose from. Please note: both gates open inwards into the park. Seven or eight months out of the year you will find green grass (and weeds), in the summer months it will be dry dormant grass. The park is always kept mowed (except for fire season) and there will be no tall grass or weedy areas. We do not spray any herbicides or pesticides of any kind inside the park or along the fence lines. This park does not share a fence line with any other properties and there is a wide perimeter around the park on three sides. The fourth side is along Crest Drive, a medium trafficked residential road. There are some neighboring small dogs along the back line that will say hello now and then, but there is a 80’ buffer between the fence lines on this side. We respect your privacy while using the park, and even though we would love to come over and play with every dog visitor and say hello to their humans, we will only meet you by specific request. Generally the park is available to book during daylight hours, but there is some flexibility for your special requests. If you choose to park your vehicle inside the park, please open the gate slowly so that it doesn’t swing against the post too quickly. Both gates have combination locks on them. USE THE TOP LINE ON THE LOCKS WITH THE RED MARKS for the code. The current code will be provided upon scheduling your visit. This is a non-smoking park. Alcoholic beverages and drug use are also not allowed in the park. Please do not play loud music in the park. If you are ever unsatisfied with your visit for any reason, we will gladly contact Sniffspot and request a refund. We are appreciate your visits and are happy to share this space with you and your dogs. If you have questions about your booking of visit please call 541-643-9853. Thank you for choosing the Grace Park Sniffspot!

55This is a great fully fenced spot and my dogs loved it! There was initial interest in the chicken coop, but we were able to distract them pretty well. There was wide open spaces for them to run, but also some hills and trees for interesting spaces. They are worn out! We will definitely visit on a regular basis!

55This was a great place to let my dogs roam free, they were safe & secure the entire time. Lots of different terrain for them to explore and water was for the dogs. Plenty of places throughout the property to sit & watch my dogs, they also had bottled water & snacks for the humans! Will be back again!

55Great spot! Secure fencing, lots of fantastic sniffing according to Logan. I could've wandered for a lot longer than we did, or just sat and listened to the wind in the trees.

55My two dogs had so much fun visiting this new Sniffspot! The wooded atmosphere was so peaceful and offered plenty of shade to keep cool. My pups spent the entire hour sniffing, which for my border collie is rare! So the smells must be amazing here :) We walked the perimeter and the fencing was just fine for even my little corgi. We spent some time relaxing in the shade in the provided chairs, with great views to keep pups in sight while they follow their noses. 5/5 and we’ll definitely be back!! Thank you for sharing your property with us!

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 2% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Trail area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 30 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 70 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
