Top Public & Private Dog Parks in Wampum, PA

It was a very easy drive from Pittsburgh. Only took 40 mins. Location was easy to find. Trudi met us at the gate, she was so nice & friendly. We parked inside the gate at the bottom of the property (though you can drive up the short hill and park up there too if you want). Also I think the area at the bottom is fenced too, so no worries when we went back to our car. When you get to the top you’ll see another large path to your left and a huge field in front of you. If you go up the path you’ll find a hand pump for water and a shed, you can see their house from here but it’s all fenced in. The field itself is amazing. There are some areas where it slopes but the ground itself is even! No hidden holes or divots to twist an ankle in. Two sides of the field are fenced. One side that isn’t has a perimeter of dense brush, the other is the partially fenced entrance. Also plenty of shade! There is a bench to sit but next time I wanna bring a blanket and just lay in the middle of the humongous field. My boys spent at least 20 mins sniffing the perimeter, then we just tossed a ball around and hung out. It was lovely. I’ll definitely go back!
