I am the owner of Anything Is Pawzible Dog Training in Chicago, Illinois. I created this company 23 years ago and it has grown to the largest dog training company in Chicago. With 19 trainers on staff and 4 locations I am proud to offer so many unique classes and offerings to our clients. Anything Is Pawzible has classes ranging the entire span of a dog's lifetime from puppy classes to senior dog classes and unique offerings throughout their lifetime. We offer nosework, therapy dog prep, agility, tricks, and advance obedience. I specialize in behavior modification consultations which typically focus on separation anxiety, aggression, and fears and phobias. With nearly two decades of professional experience, I am committed to helping people build and strengthen their relationships with their dogs. I offer puppy, basic and advanced dog obedience, tricks, and therapy dog training classes in the downtown Chicago area. Our behavior modification (aggression, separation anxiety and fears and phobias), puppy selection and adaptation lessons through private dog training sessions are also available.
Behavioral issue focus:
I work with fears and phobias, separation anxiety, and aggression cases including; inter-household and dog-dog aggression, reactivity, and dog-human aggression.
Dog training methods:
With a Masters in Psychology, I am committed to helping client's understand why a particular behavior is happening before we define a plan using positive, force free training methods that are easily defined and understood in order modify the dog's problems and strengthen their understanding and relationship with their pet.
Why I became a dog trainer:
As an only child, pets were an intricate part of my upbringing. I pursued a Master's degree in Industrial/Organization Psychology and worked in the field for nearly 10 years but was never quite fulfilled. After the events that unfolded on Sept 11th, 2001, like many, I looked at life a little differently and decided I was going to make a career shift to something I was really passionate about, even if it meant leaving a very lucrative job. I pursued additional education and became certified dog trainer and have never looked back. I truly love working with people and helping make a difference in their lives with their dogs.
My favorite part of being a dog trainer:
My favorite part about being a dog trainer is helping dog owners understand their dogs which creates a deeper connection. When I hear years later that I made a difference in a relationship, well, there is nothing more satisfying.
