  • 👋 I am Jupiter Jones. I am 3, and I am a black Labrabull and Pyrenees mix. I am a psychiatric and medical alert service dog for my mom, Melinda. She brought me home almost 2 years ago from WV. My other handler said I was a washout because I couldn't learn to smell her blood sugar. My mom knew it was because she failed to task train me correctly. I sniff out everything, even blood sugar. My human dad is a diabetic. When I was in WV, I was dehydrated, tired, afraid, smelly, and covered in sores. I had on 4, yes 4, collars. 1 choke collar, 1 e-collar, 1 shock collar, and a tiny black thin collar. If she was so worried about me being dangerous, why was I given to my forever mom with a shoelace like leash and not something stronger? I climbed in the back of her car and slept with my human sisters like they were mine always. Melinda saved me, and I have saved her. She cried so hard, taking all those collars off me. The choke collar left open sores and made my neck hurt. But she made it better just by loving me. I am trained for public access and deep pressure therapy for her anxiety and mild agoraphobia. It is so hard for her to go out, but with me, she does it anyway even when it's scary. I can tell when mom is overheated and her blood pressure is too high. Mom and I are working on researching me that small dogs are OK. Our old neighbors little dog bit me twice! Once, he hung off my rump by his teeth, and my dad had to pull us apart and lift me up into the air to get away. The second time, he bit me in my surgical site after I was, what mom called "fixed". I didn't even know I was broken! I love her. I follow her everywhere, she has zero personal space with me, not even in the potty at home. Mom says having a dog is a lot like having a human toddler. You spend all day following each other, wondering what the other has in their mouth and watch each other go potty! Mom is so funny.

    Melinda L.

  • Hi! I’m Jupiter! Im a mutt that got rescued by my mom and dad. I don’t love other dogs but I LOVE people and treats. If I see you have treats in your hand I’ll pull out every trick I’ve ever learned and even freestyle a bit.

    Jaelyn M.

  • This is the boy pup little doggies big heart. He loves playing with the older doggies in the house. Always has a toy and his most deff a dad doggie!!

    Taneesha H.

  • I am a very good boy who loves to play with my friends and do training games with my mom. Although I am adorable, I do not enjoy being pet or approached by people or dogs that have not yet earned my trust.

    Claire G.

  • I’m a Husky Shepherd mix who’s a bit shy. I had a rough start in life, abused by my pup parents then surrendered to an amazing foster rescue where I lived with 8 other pups. Unfortunately I was attacked by one of my rescue siblings so I don’t like other pups and I am a bit shy. I prefer to greet humans on my terms. I can appear intimidating and I am often misgendered by silly humans when they first meet me. You should ask my parents how our first and only meet and greet went🤣🤣

    Bryn B.

  • Jupiter is a big pup who is always ready to play! He is such a sweetheart and lover.

    Mariah D.

  • Hi! My name is Jupiter and I'm a 2.5 month old Australian Cattle Dog Mix puppy. I just arrived in Colorado from Texas on 5/3/2025. I am full of energy, super smart, a little stubborn/sassy, and am still going through my puppy teething/chewing phase. I'm doing better at potty training, but still working on it. I love everybody! I'm good with kids and other dogs. I have a cat sister now, but we're still figuring each other out. I love all toys and love to run and play all day!

    Michelle H.

  • Jupiter is a super sweet and energetic GSD. She always liked to check the perimeter so fencing is a must. She loves smaller dogs and is scared of big dogs which is hilarious considering her size.

    Audrey C.

  • 1 year old male golden retriever. Friendly with people and kids. Exuberant, smart, eager to please, loves to run and chase. Not good with dogs off leash. Gets aroused quickly. Loves to use his nose!!

    Heidi D.

  • Jupiter is a former mill dog rescued and now living the good life. She enjoys long walks with her Mommy and sniffing new places.

    Amanda H.

  • I’m a small, people-loving libra who will scarf down absolutely anything edible. I am never not hungry and love belly rubs from humans. Dogs, however….

    Elisa A.

  • Jupiter is my baby and I have had her since she was 4 weeks old. She likes playing fetch a lot. Never stops.

    amira m.

  • Jupiter struggles with anxiety from all the noises the city brings! She’s doesn’t really show interest in other dogs or humans, but once she loves you, she’s all over you!
