  • Hi I’m max! I love to play and run with my mom. I am afraid of people and not a fan of other dogs. I love my two cats, there my best friends! I am in training to help with anxiety and my mom says I’m doing good! I have a lot of allergies and can only eat certain foods. I am excited to find safe places to play.

    Nichole P.

  • Max is a boxer mix who is just the goodest boy! He is a sweet cuddle bug couch potato who likes walks/runs and will do some cool tricks for his greatest love, food.

    Katie T.

  • Max is a recent rescue from a neglect situation. Even though he has a troubled past his only goal in life is to please others and have a good snuggle buddy who give butt scratches. Max is truly the definition of a good boy!

    Ashley S.

  • Hey I’m Max, mom calls me a grumpy old man because I don’t want friends. I just want to play ball and chase ball and make mom and dad throw ball. When we meet people I rather walk away unless they’re interested in throwing ball. I don’t really like friends because that means I have to share and excuse me but absolutely not! Anywho I have what mom calls grumpy man pains I can’t play rough like I’d like to because I have some joint stiffness, my vet says I’ll be fine and conjured up a plan to give me delicious treats every day that helps with the stiffness. I however do still limp sometimes and due to my past I have some peripheral eye problems on my right side I can see straight ahead but get agitated if anyone comes on that side. It’s just confusing and scary they pop up like that so mom lets me play alone with her and dad and my little brother moose.

    Stephanie T.

  • Max is a lover. He wants to befriend everyone human and dog he sees. He loves cuddles, sleeping on his back, wrestling, and being chased.

    Amy G.

  • Max is a sweet young gentleman. He has good manners and a gentle soul. He loves to play with his sister and is learning to play with people. He loves attention but doesn’t quite know to play with toys other than what Coco gets him to do with her.

    Melissa S.

  • Max is a very sweet and inquisitive Catahoula mix. He's getting older now but still loves to run and explore.

    Anne & Salem M.

    Morgan p.

  • I was just adopted by my family early spring! They don't know me 100% yet so my mom asks that I don't meet new people until she's comfortable. You see, I'm a big boy, 100% Rottweiler and weighing in at 125lbs. She doesn't know my history other than I'm nervous around small kids. My mom has high hopes that I can be a gentle giant, I think I can be too! XOXO Max

    Tess V.

  • Max is almost 2 - he's my special boy. He LOVES his rope, and being outdoors. Loud sounds (motorcycles) scare Max, and sometimes being around new people and things give him anxiety.

    Brandy C.

  • Max is a 5 year old mixed rescue dog from Lebanon. He’s part East Asian village dog. He was around during a bombing in Beirut so he’s quite a nervous fella when we go outdoors. Huge personality indoors!

    Jasmine C.

  • He’s a very social labradoodle! He’s more interested in dating hi to the humans than he is the dogs. He loves people and giving kisses! His birthday is 11/24/2020
