About dogs named Rupert

The following are 14 profiles of dogs named Rupert from our database of 47 dogs with the name Rupert.

  • I love to play! I love people! I love my ball! I just want to play with my humans and doggie best friends all day every day. Sometimes I get scared when I meet new dogs but if they’re gentle with me, I’m sure we’ll be best friends in no time.

    Allison H.

  • Rupert is currently awaiting adoption in a Tucson small pet rescue called Home Sweet Hammy Home. He is a German Shorthaired Pointer who was dumped in early 2023 at around 6 to 7 months of age. Anyone not knowing this breed may not understand, but anyone acquainted with GSPs knows all too well. He's been adopted a few times and returned and has gone through a board and train program which wasn't as successful as it could have been but wasn't a complete failure either. Rupert knows basic commands and will listen and obey most of the time if there's incentive. I'm just looking for a large enclosed area for him to burn off some energy about once a week until he can be adopted again, which won't be for at least 6 months to a year as he was recently diagnosed with valley fever and is undergoing treatment. The disease never slowed him down and no one would even know by looking at him he has a fungus invading his body. He's on medication and a ton of supplements and thriving very well!

    Carrie K.

  • Hi! I'm Rupert! I love everyone and everything, except for dogs. They scare me a bit. That's why mom signed me up for this app! I just wanna chill and not worry about some weirdo running up to me without ✨consent✨

    Shana B.

  • I'm a very pleasant 10 month old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I was very nervous of the outdoors when I was little, but I've gotten so much better. I'm only now a little shy around new people. Now I love being outside and going places! Every dog I meet is my best friend and I truly love them. I'm full of energy and love to play with other dogs (no matter the breed, age, gender, or size), and I'm a very good listener. I do have a little bit of training to go as I'm still a puppy, but I'm super smart so I get things right away. My mom says I am the kindest and sweetest boy ever!

    Janelle M.

  • I iz The Mighty Mutt! Don't call me tiny.... I iz a big doggo and have a big heart! I wuv gilities and zooming fast! Plus.... always need to roll in the grass.

    Jennifer P.

  • Hi. I’m Price Rupert. I’m a good boy. Right Mom? Ok mom said yes. I love you so you love me? Will you pet me please? Can they pet me mom? Oh yay she said yes. What’s that? Something moved ... somebody come with me so I can go sniff it. Squirrel!!!!

    Kaitlyn E.

  • He is a 2.5 year old Weimaraner. We just moved here from the U.K. and he is used to free running and play under supervision. But not on a lead as it isn’t required in the U.K. he is well trained and comes back when called. He is gentle. He loves to find big sticks and carry them long distances. The bigger the better. He also loves playing fetch and will sit patiently waiting for you to throw the ball and will return. We need to find a place where he can enjoy the outdoors again with some freedom to run.

    Marilyn G.

  • Rupert is very chill. At the dog park he spends his time laying in the mud. I have never seen him play fetch or run further than 20 feet at a time.

    MacKenzie W.

  • Hi I’m Rupert! I don’t get along with other dogs because I missed my chance! My humans are desperately trying to keep me happy with limited resources for space to exercise, run and play at the moment 🫶🏻

    Kelly L.

  • Rupert is a big love bug that we adopted almost two years ago. He loves fetch and tug and giving us kisses! Unfortunately we don’t know what his first 6 or so months of life were like and he gets pretty scared and nervous around new people, especially when he’s on his leash.

    Kelsey W.

  • My name is Rupert and I am deaf. My mom and dad originally planned on adopting one dog at the rescue I was at, but of course they fell in love with me too, so I went home with them! I love sniffing everything! When I catch a scent, I can track it forever. I love to spoon with mom and the couch and I treasure our nightly walks. She just lets me sniff and take whatever route I am in the mood for that night. I do get a little sketchy around people, not so good at reading body language, and I am not too sure since I cannot hear. But I do LOVE other dogs. I was abandoned in Tennessee, they guessed I was bred as a hunting dog and was deemed totally useless since I could not hear. I spent scary time in a kill shelter and bounced around to other rescues for a couple years which most likely contributed to why I am sketchy at times. But mom doesn't really let people come near me, they admire me from a far to not put me in any bad positions.

    Jessica R.

  • Hello! I am a 9 year old Shih Tzu, I like to have the occasional leisurely walk. I am a lazy boy but my mom says I need to get out more.

    Elizabeth J.

  • I’m a fun-loving boy born on Pi-Day in 2020. I’m a whippet, and when I’m not taking long walks, or doing zoomies in the backyard, I like to snuggle at home. I’m known to be quite the couch potato. I love my mom, my human brother and sister and I love all my toys!!

    Jennie W.

  • Hi I’m Rupert! People think I’m a chocolate Lab but I’m a Doberman, Australian Shepherd, and Pyrenees mix! I may look big and scary but I am a gentle, shy giant that loves to sniff everything and run about!

    Jolanna A.
