My favorite treats are any crunchy veggies and anything I can use my sweet puppy face to swindle from my dad!“

“Sammy is a rescue coming to Massachusetts by way of PAWS New England, an all-dog rescue organization that saves over 1,000 dogs per year. Sammy and his housemate dog were abandoned at their doggie daycare in Texas. For decades, we’ve primarily adopted seniors. Then, by chance, we met Sammy and it was instant love ❤️. We adopted him 3 days after meeting him. Two years later, Sammy is now a 6 yo black lab/ German Shepherd beauty with the love to bolt after tennis balls, catch baby carrots mid-air and amass stuffed toy “babies” around his bed. We’ve never had a dog with so much personality. Like, when David and I kiss each other good night, Sammy runs to David for a pat on the head and a good night rub. Next, he submissively walks to me for a pat, kiss and back scratch. Then, he goes to his bed with his “baby” and sleeps the night away. After having a 5:00 am breakfast with David, Sammy bolts upstairs, pounces on me, tries giving me 1,000s of kisses and then finally settles down to sleep with me until a “normal” waking hour. Every Night and Every Day!! Too cute indeed. Sammy has since shown that he has unpredictable behavioral traits. It is not safe for him to be around non-family members or other dogs. The fluffy cat is fine. We safeguarded our home and installed the fence so that Sammy can enjoy as much of a good doggie life as possible. In 36 years of marriage, we’ve had many dogs. Sammy is our Number 1!!“
— Sherri W.
“Loving this cold weather I really hate to be inside and really enjoy running along the fence line chasing squirrels.“
— Donna M.
“Sammy is a 6 year old goldendoodle who still looks and acts like a puppy. When he was a year old he jumped out the back seat of my car and his seat belt broke. The tendons in his back left leg where almost completely ground away during the accident. For 5 years he had a crappy brace that only aloud him to play fetch once a week before limping for six days. Now that I saved up the money I bought him a very expensive brace that allows him to play every other day and we are going to take every opportunity to do new things and go to new places“
— Amber B.
“Sammy's a sweet rescue from ACCT Philly. He has some dog and people reactivity, but loves playing with us (his family) and getting to sniff around! He is muzzle trained and wears it when around any unknown people/dogs.“
— Elly G.

Thousand Oaks, California has been a safe haven for Sniffspot host, Jen, since childhood. Having grown up in busy Santa Barbara, Jen, an introvert from an early age, would seek out solitude and serenity away from tourists attractions and droves of people visiting from elsewhere. “My grandparents own 60 acres about a 30 minute drive from here, and I grew up spending every summer and every holiday visiting them on the ranch,” Jen explained. “In Santa Barbara, we wouldn't go to the beach on the weekend because that's where everybody was, so you'd find places off the beaten path where the tourists weren't. For me, the ranch was just my happy place.”
