Abby's Angels is a 501(c)(3) non profit, all volunteer, foster based rescue out of Somerset and Bedford Counties in PA. We focus on medical rehabilitation, recovery and successful rehoming as well as helping any dog we can who is in need of a second chance at the life they deserve.

Mission and Vision

We are dedicated and committed to saving as many lives as possible, providing quality of life to those who are losing their battles and providing all the love and support that each animal deserves.

Adoption Policy

An application followed by interviews, vet checks and home visits are required for every home wanting to add their newest love of their life to their family. We then work diligently to match each home with a dog whose personality best matches whom they have been searching for

Another wonderful part of being involved with this rescue is that quarterly updates are required for your dog, including a pic and a video. I look forward to following along with all the dogs that have been adopted and seeing how well they are living their best lives. This Rescue captured all of our Hearts 💕 in Western Pa when they assisted with the rescue of 90 dogs who were found in cages piled high to the ceiling in Bedford, Pa. Along with Bedford and Central Pa Humane Society, this Rescue assisted in Rehabilitation of these pups through Love and Compassion and extraordinary Devotion to the needs of the tortured and broken dogs. The amount of time and money used to heal these animals is tremendous. They take these rescues in and with the help of Fosters and Veterinary Support nurse them back to health, physically and emotionally. The Facebook Page captures the total picture of a pup that comes into the rescue and follows the rescue through the adoptive process. What they accomplish brings actual tears to my eyes. They are selfless and work passionately towards placing the animal together with the “perfect” Adopted Family. Please consider them for this award"

David Adams is a man of many passions, but his love for dogs stands above all. He is not only a dog lover, but also the founder of an innovative platform called Sniffspot. This unique platform connects dog owners with private property owners who are willing to rent out their space for off-leash playtime. While the idea of Sniffspot was initially conceived by his wife, Rebecca, David has been the driving force behind its remarkable success, tirelessly overseeing its growth and development. David's dedication to providing safe and enjoyable spaces for dogs to play, explore, and socialize is evident in his unwavering commitment to Sniffspot. He strongly believes that dogs need ample space and opportunities to stretch their legs and have fun. As a result, he has worked tirelessly to build a network of private property owners across the country who share his vision and are willing to offer their space for the benefit of dogs and their owners. Despite his busy schedule, David always finds time to indulge in his passion for the great outdoors. He loves nothing more than exploring new hiking trails and embarking on thrilling outdoor adventures. Whenever he is not working on Sniffspot, he can often be found hiking or visiting multi-acre fenced sniffspots with his two beloved dogs, Soba and Toshii. He is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys the fresh air, breathtaking scenery, and the sense of freedom that comes with being in nature. David is based in Salem, MA.
