Love And Rescue is a 501(c)3 organization comprising a team of passionate volunteers dedicated to animal welfare. We offer diverse opportunities for individuals to contribute according to their lifestyle, all driven by a shared vision of compassion and empowerment. Together, we make a positive impact on the lives of animals in need, cherishing and safeguarding their well-being. WHAT WE DO At Love And Rescue, we keep things simple yet powerful. Our success revolves around three key principles that guide everything we do: Education: We believe in spreading knowledge about responsible animal care throughout our communities. By empowering people with understanding, we create a more compassionate world for our furry friends. Active Involvement: We love seeing passionate volunteers and animal enthusiasts join our cause. Together, we form a tight-knit community that works hand in paw to bring about positive change in the lives of animals. Comprehensive Care: Every animal in our program receives top-notch care, with all expenses covered. We take extra care to ensure that each adoption is a perfect match, leading to a bright future for both the humans and their new furry companions. The combination of endless love for animals, the generous support from our sponsors and donors, and a safe, nurturing environment where healing and happiness flourish is what allows our organization to make the kind of impact that will last for generations to come. OUR VISION Our vision is a world where no animal has to suffer on the streets. At Love And Rescue, we’re all about teamwork and putting our pride aside. We love and appreciate collaborating with other rescue organizations, shelters, and awesome veterinary staff. By working together, we believe we can achieve this dream even faster. We understand the importance of togetherness when there’s such a great need to help homeless animals. So, we embrace cooperation and friendship, supporting one another every step of the way.

At Love And Rescue, our mission is to create a world where every injured and homeless animal finds a loving forever home. We believe in giving these furry friends a second chance at life, filled with love and care. Together, we build a community of compassion, ensuring that these little buddies find their way to safe and happy homes.

Adoption Policy

REQUIREMENTS All interested adopters must have/understand ALL of the following before being considered as a potential adopter. We take placing an animals life in your hands very seriously, and want to ensure we are doing the best thing for both the animal and for you. • Valid Drivers License • Be over the age of 23 • Renters must show proof or provide information to verify that the pet is allowed at the residence • Be willing to have an in person interview to go over expectations for both you and the animal • Be willing to have a Love And Rescue volunteer do a home visit • Must fill out our adoption application. Link above. Please fill out the adoption application in full and a Case Manager will reach out to you. If an animal has multiple applications we will pick the home best suited for the animal. PROCESS • Complete the application online, ensuring that all sections are filled out in full. • Once the application is received, the assigned case manager for the rescue animal will reach out to the applicant for a brief phone interview. • Following this, a comprehensive reference and background check, as well as a FaceTime home visit, will be conducted. If any concerns arise regarding the home environment, they will be addressed, and the decision to proceed with the sleepover or postpone/cancel it will be at the discretion of the case manager. • Provided a satisfactory check, the case manager will arrange a meet and greet session. • If the meeting goes well, it can be followed by a trial weekend sleepover. • After a successful sleepover, the case manager will move forward with finalizing the adoption. • The non-refundable Adoption Fee for dogs is $150, and for cats is $75, which includes full vetting, spay/neuter, and microchip services. FEE Adoption Fee is a non-refundable $150 for dogs. Adoption Fee is a non-refundable $75 for cats. Fee includes: • A spay/neuter • Microchip • Up to date vaccinations • Up to date flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

He strongly believes that dogs need ample space and opportunities to stretch their legs and have fun. As a result, he has worked tirelessly to build a network of private property owners across the country who share his vision and are willing to offer their space for the benefit of dogs and their owners. Despite his busy schedule, David always finds time to indulge in his passion for the great outdoors. He loves nothing more than exploring new hiking trails and embarking on thrilling outdoor adventures. Whenever he is not working on Sniffspot, he can often be found hiking or visiting multi-acre fenced sniffspots with his two beloved dogs, Soba and Toshii. He is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys the fresh air, breathtaking scenery, and the sense of freedom that comes with being in nature. David is based in Salem, MA.
