Who We Are:
Our primary focus is ensuring that these animals have a safe place to land; a place where they receive all necessary medical care, reassurance and socialization from foster families, and the promise of a loving forever home. Rescue K-911 is saving lives one paw at a time.
What We Do:
Each animal that enters Rescue - K911 is unique and may have its own distinct needs (medical, behavioral, or psychological). As a group, we strive to recognize and address these needs for each animal.
All of our animal will be spayed or neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, receive heartworm and flea/tick preventions while in our care. In the event other medical assistance is required, we also care and cover those costs as well. We do not have a boarding facility so our animals are placed in foster homes until they are adopted.
While in foster care, our animal learns how to live with a family; how to gain trust, what it's like to be loved, how to play, and what behaviors are acceptable. We also gain insight on their true personality once they become comfortable, which helps us match a forever home best suited for them.
During the adoption process, we pride ourselves on finding the right fit with the right family. We require completion of a detailed application, we perform vet and reference checks, and may visit the applicant's home. We encourage trial periods for our older animals, as they may take longer to adjust. We assist with introductions and continue to provide any needed support after an adoption is finalized. Happiness for the animal and the family is our overall goal!
What We Believe:
Rescue K-911 believes that no matter what their size, shape, or story, all animals deserve the chance to live long, happy, and healthy lives. That’s why we work hard every day to be a lifeline to a better future for these animals. We know that with a little support, people and animals can build a bond unlike any other, creating happier lives for everyone involved.
Mission and Vision
Our mission is to improve the lives of animals in need, promote the importance of spay/neuter to reduce the number of unwanted animals, and provide community support to enhance the connection between people and their pets.
Adoption Policy
Our Adoption Process:
1. Fill out an application for the animal you are interested in, make sure to list their name on the application.
2. Once approved, the Foster will contact you to answer any questions and schedule a meet and greet.
3. We encourage bringing all members of the family the animal will be living with, even other pets. We want to find the right match for everyone.
4. Transitioning a new pet may take some time, we encourage a trial period of one week for adult animals.
PLEASE NOTE:
The adoption process can take several hours to several days, as we are entirely volunteer-based. If there are multiple animals you are interested in please let us know.
There are times we get multiple applicants for an animal. In those instances, we contact people in the order applications are received. We will do our best to notify you if this occurs.

David Adams is a man of many passions, but his love for dogs stands above all. He is not only a dog lover, but also the founder of an innovative platform called Sniffspot. This unique platform connects dog owners with private property owners who are willing to rent out their space for off-leash playtime. While the idea of Sniffspot was initially conceived by his wife, Rebecca, David has been the driving force behind its remarkable success, tirelessly overseeing its growth and development.
David's dedication to providing safe and enjoyable spaces for dogs to play, explore, and socialize is evident in his unwavering commitment to Sniffspot. He strongly believes that dogs need ample space and opportunities to stretch their legs and have fun. As a result, he has worked tirelessly to build a network of private property owners across the country who share his vision and are willing to offer their space for the benefit of dogs and their owners.
Despite his busy schedule, David always finds time to indulge in his passion for the great outdoors. He loves nothing more than exploring new hiking trails and embarking on thrilling outdoor adventures. Whenever he is not working on Sniffspot, he can often be found hiking or visiting multi-acre fenced sniffspots with his two beloved dogs, Soba and Toshii. He is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys the fresh air, breathtaking scenery, and the sense of freedom that comes with being in nature.
