55Our 3 large pups had a fabulous time playing in the green grass with plenty of room for stretching it out while playing chase! With shady areas to relax in. Plenty of fun toys provided by host as well as a large water tub in which to jump in and cool off! We really appreciated the out house too. Fencing was secure. Heard some barking and neighbor playing basketball for a few minutes which did not affect our dogs at all.

Our 3 large pups had a fabulous time playing in the green grass with plenty of room for stretching it out while playing chase! With shady areas to relax in. Plenty of fun toys provided by host as well as a large water tub in which to jump in and cool off! We really appreciated the out house too. Fencing was secure. Heard some barking and neighbor playing basketball for a few minutes which did not affect our dogs at all.

55Great spot! Everything was very clean with no hazards. The fence was a little low in some spots (for my dogs at least who are larger and escape artists but for non-escape artists I'm sure it would be fine) but was secure all the way around. I just let them drag a leash and they were fine. No other dogs or animals were seen or heard from the spot which was nice considering I have reactive dogs. The owner was very nice and left a nice, personalized note along with some snacks. There was a fresh bowl of water out and a poop scoop and trash can. Definitely would recommend!

55Sarah's sniffspot is amazing! It was perfect for our dog! We had lots of fun running around and training. Sarah is an outstanding host with amazing ammenities. She provided a towel for muddy paws, snacks for humans, a citronella candle for bugs, and toys for our dog! She also even wrote a personalized note for us! The fence was a great height to contain my curious dog and had absolutely no gaps. There was clean water provided in a dog bowl and a trash can for when our dog goes potty. The yard was extremely clean. 10/10 would go back.

Great space. There was a bit of water in the grass towards the back (hazard of an early morning visit) so the pups got a little messy but they had a blast!

55Another fun day out with my rescue who is afraid of her shadow! We got to meet our Host, Victoria too! She showed us spot #2 and it was wonderful. Loads of space to run freely. Victoria remained in the corral to help us acclimate Ellie to her first exposure to horses. We hopped over to spot #1 for some shade play and cool off before heading home. Definitely a favorite spot for us! Thank you Victoria and those patient horses 😉

55Very large open area for big dogs to let loose and run. All kinds of toys and a big water tub deep enough for a Great Dane to stick their entire head into. Poo bags and mosquito spray on the house.

55Lovely site. Plenty of room to run. We heard some ducks (or geese?) but couldn't see them, so that was a fun mystery. Small trough of water to play in was a hit, as well as the toy selection. Out favorite Sniff near ABQ, for sure! Fence is about 4 ft high, which was fine for us, but if you have a jumper, be aware.

FAQ About Albuquerque dog park

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 19% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Albuquerque area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 62 fully fenced dog parks in the area.
