55Lovely site. Plenty of room to run. We heard some ducks (or geese?) but couldn't see them, so that was a fun mystery.
Small trough of water to play in was a hit, as well as the toy selection. Out favorite Sniff near ABQ, for sure!
Fence is about 4 ft high, which was fine for us, but if you have a jumper, be aware.JK S.

55This was our first visit and my Joey LOVED IT! Thank you for the toys, he particularly enjoyed the Chuck-It ball on a rope. The water tub was great, I threw the toy in the water and he dunked his whole head in to get to it like he was bobbing for apples! Even though it was mid day and super hot we both still had a blast. The shaded seating was very welcome. Joey came home and was ready for a nap! We will be back!Claren H.

0.5 acres of backyard space in North Valley for your dog | Sniffspot
55My two dogs loved this spot! Plenty of places to sniff and ample space to chase one another. The grass was cut short which I prefer and the space was just as advertised. The fence was sturdy and I felt that the dogs were safe to just do whatever they wanted to do. I appreciated the access to seating and all three of us enjoyed having shade. The yard was muddy in spots due to heavy rains the previous day, but the host informed us of this prior to our visit. My dogs love mud, so it wasn't a problem :) There was a hose, so we just washed off feet a bit before leaving. They even had bug spray in case we needed it, but I always carry my own. We could see the pasture spot #2 from the backyard and it looks like a wonderful space as well. We will definitely visit this SnifSpot again.Lee Ann T.

FAQ About Albuquerque Dog Parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 23% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Albuquerque area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 62 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 106 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
