55This was a lovely first experience visiting a sniff spot for me and my dog! We did go in the heat of the day during summer and my dog is sensitive to higher temps so staying for 30 minutes worked best for us. Nice, clean yard with space to play fetch or let your dog move. Neighbour dogs did briefly yip on the left side of the fence but it was extremely short lived. It was mild enough to not bother my dog-reactive girl. It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks.
