Most days there is a bin with free dog food and/or treat samples. You are welcome to bring agility or equipment and toys each visit if desired or practice nosework. We are also open to hosting groups, such as agility, nosework or trainers who need a large outdoor space that is fully fenced. Off street parking and can accommodate large vehicles. Small dogs are welcome, do note the fencing is graduated so depending on size of dog, some real tiny ones who are escape artists may not be the best fit. Based on the season, it looks a little different. In the spring before the pasture is hayed, I mow trails through it. (Keep in mind when it rains or sometimes in the fall, it can get a little wet in the northwest section… but the other areas always stay dry.) When the summer comes, the pasture is hayed thereby offering a vast playground. When the winter comes in, it’s a fun place to play when it snows. Please enter through south fence (large brown gate). My fence is a three-rail, welded, pipe fence because I have horses. I have a large pasture on the south side where dogs could play with ease. I do have prairie dogs and cotton tail rabbits on my property so prey driven dogs will be stimulated! If you’d like a mile walk to the back of the property I can lock the horses up. You will need to open a second gate to continue west. There is a very large pond just past the gate to the right. The pond dries out in the fall and fills up in the spring. You’re are welcome to let your dogs explore it. However, they will get muddy feet when it’s holding water. My neighbor just to the south has a fence made of trees right up against my fence. At the end of the property, you may continue on (north) for a longer walk. You will enjoy a quiet, peaceful walk with your dog/dogs. We do have coyotes in the area so be aware.
