The host has a lot of great things for dogs to do and a nice warming shed with treats and other enrichment toys to play with. 55Everything here was great! The fencing was 100% secure - a previous member posted concerns about a few spots where there were gaps, but that was corrected, so thank you to the host! Directions were helpful and spot on and my dogs had a great time - no holes to deal with either, which was fantastic! There are a few things to consider (nothing that can be corrected, but good to know). Being that it's right on 287, there was a ton of traffic noise, so it wasn't as peaceful and quiet as I was hoping for on my Sunday morning adventure. Also, it's looser dirt on the ground, so expect your shoes to get quite dirty and the dog paws and under carriage to pick up a lot of dirt too. It ended up being a bath day afterwards (we went early, so it was also a bit damp). Just things to be aware of - that's all. We will be back!Heidi G.

Everything here was great! The fencing was 100% secure - a previous member posted concerns about a few spots where there were gaps, but that was corrected, so thank you to the host! Chase was immediately interested in the goats which I was worried would prevent him from playing but after a few minutes he quickly realized there was a whole yard for him to run and play! This was our first time using sniff spot and we could have not chosen a more perfect spot. We were able to truly enjoy playing with our dog without the fear or stress of other dogs coming. He was able to sprint and run and play with no leash and total freedom. We are very satisfied with this spot and 100% recommend visiting. Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers).
