Welcome to Brockett Bark! 🐾 Friends have told us our backyard feels like a small city park: a fully fenced 1.2 acre property lined with trees that provide lots of shade and privacy. It's rare to find a spot like this so close to the city! There's lots of room here for activity—whether your fur-babies like to roam and sniff all the smells, find and chew on endless sticks, play long distance fetch (with our handy chuck-it), or just get some serious exercise running at full speed up and down the hill. We have two large breed dogs ourselves (an Australian Shepherd and a Great Pyrenees) and this yard is their happy place! Our Pyr is a rescue who can't be off leash or go to dog parks, so our property is the only space where he's free to be himself. And when we discovered Sniffspot, we wanted to offer the same opportunity for other doggos like him. No pup should be kept from the joys of life because of what they've been through! Our home is super easy to find/access and we have plenty of private (off-street) parking available, making it an ideal space to meet up for playdates. Hi there! Welcome to my backyard. I hope you and your pups enjoy their time here. My yard is fairly rustic. There will be some seating and also poop bags and a trashcan will be available. I don’t have any toys right now, but I may add some in the future. Please be mindful of any kudzu vines or exposed tree roots. Depending on when you visit, please be mindful that there might be a few muddy spots so wear appropriate shoes. It’s very shady with all the trees.  Please no smoking, alcohol or glass bottles. If you have a reactive dog or just crave some good privacy, this is the perfect spot for you. Tall, secure wooden fence is 6 feet tall on the sides and 8 feet tall across the back. Lots of level grassy areas to run and play in! There’s a fire table for your use. Please be sure to turn it completely off before you leave. When it’s hot out, there’s plenty of shade and we provide an oscillating fan on the deck for some cool breeze. Milk bones are provided, along with a hose and kiddie pool during the warmer months. We turn the water off in the winter so our pipes don’t freeze. Tons of seating! Outdoor living room area, plus an additional table and chairs with umbrella. There's even a sitting area in the yard with a fetching sticks and some toys. Hammock available as an extra for lounging on the deck. Please park along the street in front of the house, but not in front of the mailbox. Thanks!
