Please note - use of the pool needs to be booked as an "extra". Please message me if you are having trouble. Come let your dog(s) play in our fully fenced, 2 acre yard. The yard is fully fenced with stockade fencing on three sides and black chainlink along the back. Very small dogs may be able to squeeze out the back gate along the woods line, so please pay close attention. The yard has tons of shade trees and you are welcome to sit on the deck while your dog explores. The pool is extra, so please consider this when booking. You can add the pool time if you look under "extras". The pool is also fully fenced. There are chairs in the pool area as well! We will provide dog towels - please hang them on the pool fence when you are done. People are welcome to swim, but please bring your own towels. We do have life jackets that you are welcome to use, but you may want to bring your own so you a sure it fits your dog. Please do not allow your dog to potty in the pool area. Kids are okay, but they must be under direct adult supervision (over 18) at all times. Please know, for everyone's safety, we do have cameras in the yard.

Let us know if you have any questions! 🐾🌿 All The Furry Details: 🔍 The backyard also has a covered porch with a table and chairs for relaxing while your friends probably do the opposite 😜 There are also a box of communal toys (Sniffspot only!) that are wiped/disinfected after each guest and some training treats & water to help yourself to. We have well water and provide snd encourage our guests to use distilled water for both themselves and dogs. There is and area near the garage with access to a hose if you need it. ✨ Perks: nice area to sit and relax or run around and play with your dog. Lit well at night, electricity outlet available. ‼️ Please note: there is only possible noise/sound distraction from the single side of this part of the property which is shared with a neighbour and their pooch. There are no other houses to our other side or surrounding. There IS a wood 6 ft privacy fence obscuring any view from said pup. If she is outside, she may want to run along the fenceline saying “hi!” for a few minutes (if she is outside and it’s a distraction our neighbours are very kind/easy to communicate with and we as hosts would be happy to extend any time lost to distraction. :-) She also sometimes likes to run up and down, back and forth the fenceline with our puppies if they’ll engage and does it playfully. ☺️ 🌖 It is also somehow both lit well in the immediate backyard at night while simultaneously being a few steps from seeing the stars shining bright! There are solar lights as well as motion sensor lights to guide you easily in and out! 🫶 This listing also includes access to an indoor splash area/wash off area for your pup! If you have questions about your dog’s swimming abilities or if you are unsure if your dog will swim, contact us to discuss. _____ Hey dogs and their humans… It’s time to come play at Sammy’s Playground, a private dog park for just you and your pups (there will not be any other dogs present during your visit). There’s lots to do for each and every one of you. With the entire 0.5-acre backyard fully enclosed by a new’ish and secure chain-link fence (Fall 2022), your pups are free to safely roam, sniff, fetch and run to their hearts’ delight. And, wow… you are surely going to love watching them go!! Zoom-Zoom. Pool… Yup, we have a pool! Is your pup a swimmer? Or a swimmer wanna be? Our pool is the perfect spot to splish-splash away! Our website provides all the details, including adding the respective Extra Flat Fee, with plenty of photos showing what to expect, which includes towels and life vests. NOTE: pool use is an Extra flat fee, as listed in the Extras section. Consider this added cost when booking for your visit. The areas along the perimeter of the yard are wooded and make for fun pathways for explorations. There are twigs and branches as you would expect in a woody area. The central portion of the yard is sloped and open. This makes for plenty of romping and heavy-duty running- including long throws of a ball or a frisbee. We have tennis balls & a tennis ball thrower. And don’t worry about the yard (too much). There’s divots and mounds all around, no manicured lawns when dogs are at play. Go for it guys… Enjoy!! We are uncomfortable with doing this, because it goes against the spirit of our objective for Sammy’s Playground in the first place: providing a safe and secure environment for dogs of all kinds to enjoy off-leash “true-dog” experiences with their loving humans. They save over 1,000 dogs per year. ——- NOTE: to open the gate, simply reach over the top to find the key. Twist/turn the key until it stops. Then, lift the knob on top of the gate and push the gate open… you’re in! The gate automatically closes behind you. Please confirm that it has engaged into the closed position and then turn the key to lock yourself in. DO NOT REMOVE THE KEY. Confirm that you have locked yourself in by seeing the little red dot and not being able to lift the knob. The photos section includes views of the gate, key and lock. MUST: when you leave, lock the gate. Doubly ensure that you have done so by lifting the knob. Upon leaving, leave the spot as you found it. Folks with multiple dogs should do a walk-about around the yard to ensure that all dog poop has been cleaned up. Toys, for staged toys, you can leave as is. Otherwise, we ask that all other toys and such are put away. We appreciate your efforts!!

There's also a garden area around the other side of the house where they can play as well. In the winter there's woods they can run around in.
