The pups immediately hopped in the pond and were begging for their tennis ball. They lost 2 of them in the pond so we did use a rubber toy ball provided by Becca ( thank you so much!). The pond was deep enough for our 2 german shephards to do a little swimming ( not just wading). Love the extras, like the toys, hose to rinse off after( we all needed it to get the mud off), towels, bug spray and we did add their name to the vistor's area.
The only concern is it looked like a lot of wild parsley along the path ( please correct me if I'm wrong) and if the pups went in there and the owner got the sap on their skin while in the sun. it can cause blisters and potenial scaring. Otherwise, an amazing place and we will be back!Tom H.

55This is a perfect place! Very clean, the host goes out of her way to make sure you have what you need. There was bug spray, flea and tic spray, towels, pooper scooper, hose. There was easy access to water, which made it convenient for breaks, and plenty of trails to explore—we never ran out of things to do.

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers).
