I will stay inside unless you would rather I come out and meet you and your pup. We have water bowls filled and a hose right there if you need more water. Patio has multiple patio tables and chairs if you want to chill while your pup plays. I have water, kool aid, maybe Gatorade available, just ask! I only require about 15 minutes heads up so I can make sure my dogs are put up and inside so you can enjoy the backyard alone with your dog. If your dog needs another dog friend to play with we do have several here who are extremely dog friendly and love to play ranging in size from a rat terrier up to a super sweet and friendly Doberman. Our spot is on a large corner lot on a dead-end street in a quiet, secluded neighborhood. We have one nextdoor neighbor who has no pets, and we have large privacy trees between us. The yard is shaded with established trees, and roughly three quarters of an acre are fenced in with a ranch style wooden fence (the lowest rung is 6 inches above the ground, so our spot is not suitable for tiny dogs who might want to run underneath). The yard is not close to the road, but people occasionally walk by and are visible. We have lots of squirrels and chipmunks to chase. It's a great spot for reactive dogs who need to run or nap in a sun-dappled space and don't do well at a traditional social dog park. We have a large vegetable garden and do not use pesticides in the yard to protect our pollinator friends. Our cozy deck is available with comfortable seating, tables, and wifi. I work from home and am often around if you happen to need anything. We do have a rescued 7 year old pup on the premises, but he will stay inside and away from windows. We have repurposed our horse arena to house our Sniffspot. It is fully lit outside and in. It is fully fenced/secured and has enough space to throw a chuck-it ball or stroll around the perimeter. There are a few jumps or you can bring your own obstacles/parkour to set up. It has chairs, a table, poop bags, a pooper scooper, and trash can. No water on site. Please enter through the smaller door as the large barn doors are sealed for winter. Please avoid our small RV parked in the corner. PALS Park Lower, is a space we have curated strictly for dogs. This park is the little brother of PALS Park, now PALS Park Upper. This space is more rustic and a bit more simple than PALS Park Upper. There are 2, 5 gallon water jugs available with dog bowls. A deck box with an assortment of toys. A pooper scooper, along with a poop bag dispenser and trash can. There is a blue bag filled with agility equipment that may be used, but please put back when finished. People and Dog bug spray, natural and traditional varieties are available. This park is also named after our dogs. Penelope (20 lb., (F) Boston Terrier), Arthur, and Lewis (55-70 lb., (M) Cattle Dog mixes and biological brothers). Arthur and Lewis “do not play well with others” (they're herding dogs and tend to herd other dogs). Penelope is smaller and getting older, so she gets bullied at dog parks. Needless to say our number one goal is the safety and wellbeing of our kids, and now yours.
