A small Jon boat with paddle for a pup water tour of the pond. A selection of different size life Jackets for pups and humans. A bulletin board with a sample display of a Blue Green Algae test kit that can be purchased on Amazon’s. An area next to it where guests who do the tests can post the day, time and results for other pup owners to see. An array of pup towels to dry off with and a drying line. A Muddy Paw Spa wash station b4 they get back in the car, multiple large shaded sitting areas. A 10’x 10’ sand filled dig box for the pups who just have a need to dig. A “Tug of War”spring loaded grab bar for pups who like a good tug of war. Multiple pup fresh water dispensers, with bowls for them. Multiple Doggie Poop Depots with poop bag dispensers so for your convenience, no need to carry that around while you explore the 15 acres. ( Fair Warning.. very low tolerance for a guest who does not pick up after their pup) Two wooded trails areas that we have just begun to develop for the wild side areas to explore. There are dogs at the front of the property, which are fenced in. There is possibility of hearing barking from them or neighbors. I teach dog training at the red barn, you may come to parking lot of cars. Dogs will always be leashed and under control and typically away from the parking lot. Our pups had a great time romping up and down the hills at The Balanced Dog trails. Even though there's been plenty of rain, the wide grass trails through field weren't nearly as muddy as we expected. The property was clean and well fenced. The host came out to greet us as we were leaving and we had a pleasant chat. We'll definitely be visiting again!

Such a beautiful spot! It can be a bit muddy and slippery but that’s the case in most instances with PNW weather. Once you cross the little stream and blackberry bushes the trails are grass and still wide enough to throw a ball and roll around! Sometimes you can hear dogs but it wasn’t too distracting for my pup. We’ll definitely be back!

This place is so neat! Loki had so much fun running through the trails. At one point, he jumped into a bed of thorns which was fun (sarcasm) to get him out of, but overall I loved it here. It's a really cool idea!

Spot is laid out well and we liked the separation of the trails from the larger flatter play area. There was plenty of fresh water toys and towels and I can also confirm this spot is 100% fenced and secured for the smallest of dogs. Trails were maintained while still feeling “wild”. Dogs had a great time and I’ll definitely be back.

This is a great spot for your dog to run around and enjoy themselves. Lots of amenities including toys, water, poop bags, etc. For the reactive pups, just a heads up: the owner and their dogs were out in the yard when we pulled up, so my pup freaked out in the car. She very thoughtfully put them inside once we parked. That said, once you are past the first field, you can't see the dogs or people at the house, so it's great for reactive puppers.

Google maps brought us right to the spot. There's plenty of room for parking in their gravel space. The instructions to get in were very clear, and there was water, towels, and toys available in the field by the house. There was a training session going on in Lyndsi's yard when we pulled up, so I kept my dog on leash through the field (where there is also agility equipment available to play or train on) until the second gate at the back right. We spent most of our time in the back acreage. It's beautiful with tons of room for exploring and sniffing. The trails are really well maintained with low-lying brambles in between the trails. There's lots of different paths you can take, and the fence is 6" other than two lower gates (4"?). We had one snafu, which Lyndsi + their partner helped with right away. This place really lets you get practice, in a real-world practical way, with your dog's recall. Your dog can be an ace in your 1/8th acre back yard and on long line, but you'll never truly know how they are until you get a good unique experience like Lyndsi offers.

This is by far one of the nicest Sniff Spots in the Portland area. The space is completely fenced with walking trails throughout. The entry to the space has agility equipment set-up so lends itself for a great space to also work on other skills in addition to overall enrichment. The owner Lyndsi is very nice and extremely knowledgeable about dog behavior and specializes in reactivity training. What a great asset in the community! I will definitely be back on a regular basis!

Our dog loved running up and down the trails! They are pretty steep so us humans got a workout too :) definitely a lot of distractions- dogs, other people, barking, etc. but I feel like that is made pretty clear in the description. The trails are exposed so you can see everything going on around you. We kept our dog on a long lead to help with recall. We will def come back on a weekday!

I loved this spot. The trails are well-maintained and visibility is fantastic to keep an eye on the dogs. There is a culvert that my dog tried to run into. Great spot. Worth the drive. Was as described. I’ll note, it’s not worded trails like I imagined but still great. Several different paths you can take. Pups were in heaven. My only complaint is that there were thorn bushes everywhere on the paths. Made me nervous with the dogs paws, but they seem to be fine. We will definitely be back! Thanks Lyndsi 💜
