The pastures are cross-fenced, allowing for room to explore but not too far. An indoor riding arena is available as an add-on. It is enclosed on three sides, keeping the wind and weather out during playtime. It is well-lit for evening use. Horses offer additional entertainment but are always a safe distance with a large space (enough to drive a large truck through) between fence lines. The animals are not reactive to the dogs even when barking at them. The farm animals don't respond to the dogs, so often the dogs move on to exploring the space. We have some simple agility items in the space along with balls and other toys to help entertain both you and your dogs. As a guest, you have access to: * Fully Fenced Acre of play space for off-leash adventures * Water - Lift the green handle to start the flow of water * Poop baggies * White garbage can * Dog towels, clean ones in the clear container, and dirty ones go into the grey tote. We ask you to use 1 towel per visit if possible. * Porta Potty * Shelter with chairs and a small table you can put anywhere in the field during your visit we just ask that you put them back when you are done. * During the summer days we include a doggie pool. They are blue kiddie pools. Double them up when you use them so they are easier to empty and less likely to break. Please dump the pool and return it to the corner when you are finished. IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION: This is a field that has uneven ground including mole and gopher holes. Please watch your step. Please keep within the Sniffspot area. If you happen to throw a ball over a fence just message me and I can retrieve it for you. It is important to stay outside of areas marked private property. Those gates also have extra locks, but we want to be sure everyone stays safe. USE OF INDOOR ARENA: During harsh weather (over 95 degrees or winter would be those days of wind and heavy rain) the indoor arena may be an option. We have a shade (or rain) canopy with a picnic table under it, fresh water, toys, and poop bags. :) I have 3 dogs that roam the upper 2 acres of the property, which is my backyard. Sterling (border collie) Piper (border collie) and our newest member Wriggley ( husky mix) SHE was supposed to be a foster dog, but we fell in love with her... If your dogs roam up to the very edge of the Woods where the 4 acres are divided, you will most likely hear my pups if they are outside. We have placed a privacy material along the fencing so that the dogs will not be able to have any contact, but they will see shadows through the material. My pups may bark and run up and down the fence line as you play in the forest if they hear you. The property adjacent to us is the home of two nice dogs. If our neighbors let them into their back field, there is a chance you and your dog will hear them. If you have aggressive or reactive dogs, PLEASE give me a heads up. You will see a white address sign “Windenfir” You will then see a sign “Windenfir Training Field.” Parking avail in front of gate, near the exit, or in front of garage (just not blocking garage door). After going though Windenfir training field gate you will see the back gate with a sign “Windenfir Dog Pasture." Great place to explore and let them sniff. Looking to the right when out in the pasture, the neighbors Goldens occasionally bark. Two fences between properties on this side. Owner usually calls them when barking. The pasture has goat droppings so no surprises. This is a farm :) Chickens and goats in separate area and visible to dogs (see photos). Don’t be surprised if they come up to the fence to see what’s going on. The animals have been raised around dogs and are not bothered by them. They would come out if they could. Very nice field fencing in pasture. Chain link/field fencing in training field. As of now the training field and pasture are muddy and slick in areas. Agility equipment can be slick also due to rain. Check pasture area if deciding to throw a ball/stick/small child :). Hard packed in areas and not level in some. Playhouse is open for photos and kids. We are securely and fully-fenced, with terrain that is without briars and thistles. Our guests often share how their dogs are rarely ready to leave since there is tons to explore and do. There are also plenty of open areas for all-out running, several digging areas, plenty of toys, Chuck-Its, a flirt stick to train impulse control or for fun, wood chips to climb, parkour logs and an agility set. We enjoy our peaceful, scenic, 3 acres with our Doberman Piper. We are 35 minutes from Fremont Bridge, in Hwy 30. I participate in dog sports and enjoy taking Piper with me as much as able. I thought others may enjoy our property with their dog as much as we do with ours. As you pull off Columbia River Hwy (hwy 30) towards the Warren Country Inn restaurant (56575 Columbia river hwy, warren, Or 97053) stay left towards the guard rail. You will see a dead-end road sign with a Sniffspot sign underneath it. This is our driveway. Follow and stay left up the hill past the barn & past the goats. Our property has the 2-story gold house on it. You will see on your left a green sign with our address 56441. You will park on your right, by the Sniffspot parking sign. This unfenced, large, mowed field to the right is yours to enjoy and is only part of the 3 acres you get to play in. Straight ahead, towards the 2-car garage, there is a picnic table under the trees. Feel free to use this. Dogs love to jump on it. Look to the far right and you will see a 6-foot chain link fence. Walk across the field and the entrance is to your left. Just follow the chain link fence to left for the gate. Inside of this area is a fully fenced, 5 to 6 feet tall area to train or play. This area is about 100 ft by 50 ft wide. Inside of the chain link area is an agility jump, large container of chuck its, tugs, other toys and orange cones for dog training. There is also a water bowl with water that will be cleaned between guests. When it is hot out, I will have a kiddie pool with water so your dogs can cool down. There are 2 chairs to sit in when in the fenced area. Feel free to bring whatever you would like to play with to the big grass field area to enjoy. We would appreciate it if you can put it back inside the fenced area when you are finished with the items. If you continue to the left of the chain link entrance, you will see several steps down to the seasonal stream. It’s either a pond or a stream, depending on if the beavers damn it or the damn breaks. Feel free to let your dog explore this area. The mud is soft. During the summer, its more on the dry side. From the steam continue to the left and follow the stream. When you get to the tall trees straight ahead there will be a box of poop bags, next to the seasonal stream. Our neighbor’s property is behind these bags on the right in the green house. So go left up the hill towards the orchard. Feel free to pick a couple apples during the fall. This will get you to the front, by the picnic table and you will be able to see your car from the top of the orchard. Unfortunately, there are no restrooms on site, however as you will see the Warren Country inn is right by our home. You can go there during business hours to use their bathroom. Or grab something to go to eat on our picnic table. We have an added attraction of moles. My Dobie loves trying to find them. Beware of holes that we may have missed filling in between guests. We do have a variety of unknown mushrooms growing during autumn and some other wet months. If the ball or toy goes over the fence to our neighbor’s yard, just leave it there. Don’t go and get it. We will get later. Please pick up after yourself and your dog. No smoking or vaping please. No drugs or alcohol. Please no glass

We have a perfect little slice of freedom for your pupper! Our property is fully-fenced, so let your dog go ham! As a working hobby farm we are constantly working on the property, but we will always be respectful and give you privacy. If you or your dog wants to say hello or has any questions about the animals/property, we are here, just give a wave or a holler. Please make sure all dogs and people visiting are respectful of the farm animals. We have goats, sheep, chickens, and turkeys fenced in along the dog area. We have a roaming farm cat. We have bee hives on property but away from the dog area. We do have a Rough Collie puppy on site. He is indoors but is 99% interested in running around if your dog would like a companion.

This spot was amazing it had everything you need for your pup, toys, drinking water, trails, agility equipment, a pond, a cleaning station for after water activities. My pup had the best time. We had the best time playing with our pup.

Agility course, pond with a lil canoe, paddles and both human and dog life jackets - safety furst, fire pit with fire extinguisher, pic nic table, gazillion toys (frisbee, chuckit sticks, different balls and water toys), Adirondack type chairs all over (even under a tent for when it rains), walking trails, a ton of poop depots (each with poop bags), and the ultimate porter potty with motion sensor lights and strawberry scented air fresheners and the obvi hand sanitizer). Did they put all their love and care into this spot? You betcha! It's a fairly new spot and they have big plans for making it even more pawsome. Because I'm who I'm, I had a blue green algea test in the car left over from our summer adventures at nearby lakes. I'm a trust but verify kinda gal. Guess whoatt? They even have notes on the board about that test. Talking about preparedness:-) Tested the pond water just to be safe. All came back negative for toxins. It's water time for Sky! Even Choo did a swirl. On the agility course, my ball boy had a blast. Is it his thing? Not really, but can he learn new tricks to get the ball? You betcha! Great enrichment experience for 2 hours packed of fun. Didn't see or hear any other animals. Fencing isn't an issue for us since ball control = Sky control. Had a long chat with the owner at the end. Really cool spot. Check out the pics! Last but not least, I'd like to say that if any poop is found on trails etc, don't blame the lack of poop bags or poop bag dispensers. This was my first sniffspot, and it has set the bar SO HIGH for anything else, I'm not sure I'm even going to try to look. The driveway, parking, and trails are clearly marked, there's an agility course, hiking trails, a giant pond, and so much for my dogs to get in to. They had an absolute blast, and are now currently napping.

Loved it! We've added it to our favorite spots. We've been to quite a few and only one other place was on the list of favorites... 😍. It's very well kept, private and many choices of activities. This is the best combination of dog activities in one place that I've seen. Trails, agility, swimming, toys, tons of room to throw a ball or frisbee. It really is like a private park for dogs. They've taken such great care to provide everything you might need and the custom signs and towels are so great. Wonderful place. ❤️

This was our first visit to Tail Waggers. I brought my youngest dog, along with my friend and her dog. They had a fantastic time playing fetch and running in the field, swimming in the water (despite it being a chilly morning), and exploring. The agility equipment is great, and what drew me to this location to start. The layout/amenities here show just how much thought the hosts have put into having guests here. We will be back as this is now our top spot to go.

I can’t say enough about what a truly lovely and peaceful spot this is. As they carve in more hiking trails (and hopefully more to come!!) the dogs really get everything they like: a field to play ball, a lake to sniff around and swim, and woodland trails to hike around. Raymond & Janet have added all kinds of thoughtful extras: towels, water for dogs, plenty of chairs with beautiful vistas,a dog agility course (which my dogs want nothing to do with. lol) dog toys, balls, poop bags and a disposal bucket. All in all it’s fantastic.

This place is puppy heaven!! My hunting dog loved it! She chased birds, hunted along the trails and then took a dip in the lake before we left. The land is beautiful, the hiking trails were great, and there is so much for a dog to do here! We will definitely be back again soon! Highly recommend!!

Raymond and Janet’s property is extremely well-cared for. Our two energizer bunnies had a blast exploring the trails, pond area, and agility equipment. Quick note for reactive dog guardians: there do not appear to be buffers between reservations. The next guest arrived a few minutes early and we had to rush to get our dog-sensitive pup into the car before any potential sighting. Otherwise, a peaceful retreat close to the city!

We had a great time, I took 3 dogs and they all had a blast, my lab mix got a bit too enthusiastic with the lake and it was hard to get her out!! We finally coaxed her back to the other side. We were able to take a nice little hike while the dogs played it was really nice. Very nice amenities, they had little dog towels that we took advantage of. I was so impressed!!

We had a great time at this Sniffspot! The area was well marked and clearly lots of time & care has gone into making this a great experience for pups and their people. Lots to do also — the agility course was a fun option! This was also one of the first times that we spent almost whole hour exploring…and we didn’t even get a chance to check out all of the walking trails yet. Because of the recent rain, it was a little muddy in some spots but totally manageable and the area is well kept. I would just wear different shoes next time :) we had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!
