Your dog will be ready to nap and rest quietly after running and playing at this country sniff spot-which will enable you to continue traveling on to your destination. Have your dog’s birthday party on our lush green grass. Plenty of room for dogs to play and their humans to take pics and enjoy seeing the joy on their faces. The yard is absolutely secure and the dogs can feel free to use all of their senses to have an amazing time. Conveniently location less than 5 minutes from the 10 freeway, our spot makes for the perfect play space for your pup. During summer we offer water features including a mister, splash pad and wading pool. Extra shade is also set up for your comfort. There is an old swing set on property, that is a ‘use at your own risk.’ We keep it up because our dogs, and family members enjoy it, but before use your own discretion before using. Cold bottled water in outdoor frig for humans and fresh water in bowls for your pups. This is a country yard. If your fur baby needs water after so much excitement and play, please feel free to give them water (which is accessible throughout the property), so they have a restful trip home. ❤️ We take pride in giving our fur visitors the best possible experience, along with keeping their human parents in mind. We set out some extras for not only the pups, but also the humans, without any extra charge. I have almost 4 acres. I have livestock and small animals such as chickens pigs and rabbits water turtles and large tortoises. All animals will be enclosed or fenced off. Your doggo will be able to interact with them through fencing. I have areas that will be closed off but will allow doggo in on leash. This is where I keep my rabbits and tortoises. My place has lots of different areas to explore from a rocky hillside to shade trees with an area to picnic. I have kiddie pools that will be available for the hot dog. Because of the different terrain please be aware the land is unlevel and varies from grass to sand and then rock. Parking will be inside the property. The gate is kept closed. I will open it for you. Your doggo will be full of energy when they get here but will leave here exhausted and happy. And we love the holidays around here so I will have an area decorated for the holiday. The Sniffspot venue is a 3 acre fully fenced area that you and your dog will have unsupervised, exclusive use of for the time that you have booked. There, you will find fresh filtered (RO) water for your canine companions, an abundance of toys, Chuckit balls and launchers, including guest supplies and other listed amenities. The entire farm is 36 fenced acres. For anyone interested, I will gladly provide supervised walks around the entire property for additional psychological enrichment at no additional cost. Note: Palmhill is a working organic farm. There may be an occasional worker sighting, but absolutely no reason for any employee to ever interact with a guest or their dogs. My interests lie in offering an affordable, stress-free, large, safe, clean, offleash venue for guests and their canine companions. Thanks to an awesome group of guests who have been with us since first opening the venue, this has been a very rewarding experience. However, there have been, a few guests who have not been doing a very good job of cleaning up after their own dogs which makes it very unpleasant for the guests who come in to the venue next. I have many visitors who pick up dog droppings of other people's dogs and don't say a word, and also return toys and balls to the recepticles, but they shouldn't have to! I actually had a guest say to me once, "Oh, I thought you had people to do that!" No, everyone is responsible for cleaning up after themselves before they leave the field. That's how we keep the venue tidy and affordable! I don't think that's an unreasonable expectation. I've had to post a list of reminders at the venue, (thank you, Michele) which I feel terrible about because they're not relevant for the MAJOROTY of Palmhill's guests. It's just a handful of mostly newer guests who aren't being very team friendly. I've met some awesome people and even more so awesome dogs, but sorry to say, if you don't play fair, you will be asked not to come back to this venue. Everyone is welcome including, large groups, highly reactive dogs, special needs dogs- dogs with anxiety, physical handicaps, previous dog park trauma dogs, etc. We love them all and will do our best to make everyone feel welcome! WHAT IS A SNIFFSPOT? You and your pups can come and relax in this beautiful fenced in backyard without having to worry about having other dogs or people around. SniffSpots are perfect for reactive dogs or those who just don’t have the yard space to get all their zoomies out. But of course, anyone is welcome to come and enjoy our pool and yard! Our address is: off Santa Angela St, Highland (full address to be provided after booking). The entire back yard is available to use including the grass area. Pool Extra: If and / or your pups would like to use the pool, please see the pool extras. The pool is a chlorine pool. The pool house is off limits and will remain locked. There is a hose behind the pool house for your use to rinse off before / after pool use. Please bring your own towels. Neighbors have dog(s) on adjacent fence which may be out occasionally. Because we do have nearby neighbors, if your dog(s) bark excessively and don’t settle well, we may not be the perfect spot for you - out of polite consideration for our neighbors. Thank you!
