55We had so much fun today! My 3 pups loved frolicking on their own little beach and 2 of the 3 enjoyed swimming in the river. There's a bit of a current, so my 7 pound Papillon would have struggled to get back to shore. The mini Aussie and mini Bernedoodle had no trouble at all. The grass landing was tons of fun, too. They particularly loved the areas where the grass was overgrown and tromped gleefully through it. Their smiles were wide and that just fills my heart up. Myly P.

55Go the full distance after you turn off the highway. Once you take the middle road, it will veer to the left past an old open barn. A blue Sniffspot sign will indicate the parking spot and then the property is to the left down the long & wide clearing. The sandy beach is huge with calm waters. We had a great time. Since we walked from the highway, we even got to meet some neighbors. Other than that just some curious songbirds who delighted at my dog swimming. We will absolutely be back. 55This location is great! Fully fenced and beautiful surroundings in the valley! Easy to find, easy to get into. The stick library is a very nice and also hilarious touch. Our pup had a great time running through the field. It was especially nice to have the space to do a little recall training in an enclosed area. Jesse S.

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers).
