What a lovely spot! Sinead gave us the lay of the land. There’s still work to be done but there’s lots of room for running, playing and swimming. There are muddy spots - one of my dogs has keen mud puddle radar and within minutes emerged in all her black glory. The pond washed her clean though. Sinead thoughtfully supplied sticks for tossing into the pond- she knows how to make a dog happy! This is one of the best sniff spots I’ve been to. Oh, a neighbor had a dog that was barking (likely a response to my dogs’ happy yapping) but we couldn’t see it so it wasn’t a problem for my reactive dogs. Afterwards we grabbed some apples from the orchard across the street.

Really lovely property! My dog loved sniffing in the fields and around the pond, even though he didn't feel like getting in the water this time. He was nearly falling asleep on the way home, which is always a good thing. Would definitely come back here!

I was really excited to see this venue offering rentals for private play during their off-season. This facility offers great options for visitors. There is a fully fenced area in the back for dogs with poor recall or a likelihood of bolting. There are also trails in the woods for on or off leash hiking. I let my crazy dogs run off some stress in the fenced area and then we walked around in the woods and on the open parts of the grassy area, leashed or unleashed, as appropriate for each dog. Things to be careful of: 1. there is a small highway near the parking area, so bolters beware, 2. In the wooded areas there is limited fencing. Finally, there is a large fenced area that is off limits, and for good reason, this is a canine sporting venue and I’m sure they don’t want the competitive fields getting torn up by dogs playing. But there is still lots of space for fun! Thx for opening this SniffSpot and sharing with those of us with big feeling doggos. ❤️🐾❤️

Two dogs had a great time and are now out in front of the fireplace. A good sized are and very clean. Only issue was the size of the gap at bottom of the two doors of the gate was large enough for the miniature poodle to squeeze through but once he started having fun he didn’t want to leave so it wasn’t an issue.

We visited our first sniff spot ever and it went great! The are was clean and my kids loved it! There was enough space to throw a frisbee and run around off leash. I would come here again.

A lovely and clean safe space for pups to run. Some reviews seemed to indicate that the fencing was not secure but I did not find that to be the case....unless perhaps their dogs are tiny. There are also unfenced woods to walk in but I did not realize that until I got home and sent Annette a text asking about it. She plans to revise her listing to more clearly indicate that fact. It does close from May 1 to Nov 1 since it is also a training facility but I hope to go back in the fall. Thanks Annette!

I actually rented this spot to do a meet and greet for my foster dog and her potential new family with two dogs of their own already. When it’s just my dogs I feel the field is a bit small. However this couldn’t have been any more perfect for this occasion. It’s private and far from the road, big enough for the dogs to run and have fun without getting too wild. Perfect set up and adopters were so excited to learn about Sniffspot and experience it.
