We are located in central San Diego, just up the hill from Snapdragon Stadium in Mission Valley, and are easy to access from major freeways including the 15, 8, 163 and 52. Our property is double-fenced, which brings peace-of-mind to our guests. The top patio area, where you will enter and exit, is fully-fenced and secure, as is the lower yard with its own gate. Our home is in a quiet neighborhood, on a dead end street. Street parking is always available either right in front of our house or close by. You will have private access through a side gate to our backyard. Dogs love to run up and down the dirt slope in our yard to chase balls and expend their energy. The slope leads to our flat, lower dirt yard which is perfect for your dogs to run free and get their zoomies out! We do have a turf area under the play structure, as well as inside the enrichment area. We provide everything you could possibly need during your visit including lots of balls, Chuck It launchers for fetch, toys, water bowls, a hose, enrichment activities, plenty of seating, shade, a cot for the pups, towels, and more - all of which are included in the base price! The backyard is very large and is terraced, so it’s great for exercising dogs or sniffing around (lots of great smells). There are also many fruit trees you are welcome to (orange, grapefruit, lime, lemon, and fig). We also have a pergola with 4 chairs and a fire pit. Lots of shade is provided by our pecan and jacaranda trees most of the year. The backyard ground is a mixture of brick pavers, gravel, and mulch. We have several hoses throughout the yard that you’re welcome to use as much as you want. There is an empty koi pond that can be used as a splash pool for dogs too with our hoses. Palmhill's Private Dog Park In Valley Center

The Sniffspot venue is a 3 acre fully fenced area that you and your dog will have unsupervised, exclusive use of for the time that you have booked. There, you will find fresh filtered (RO) water for your canine companions, an abundance of toys, Chuckit balls and launchers, including guest supplies and other listed amenities. The entire farm is 36 fenced acres. For anyone interested, I will gladly provide supervised walks around the entire property for additional psychological enrichment at no additional cost. Note: Palmhill is a working organic farm. There may be an occasional worker sighting, but absolutely no reason for any employee to ever interact with a guest or their dogs. My interests lie in offering an affordable, stress-free, large, safe, clean, offleash venue for guests and their canine companions. Thanks to an awesome group of guests who have been with us since first opening the venue, this has been a very rewarding experience. However, there have been, a few guests who have not been doing a very good job of cleaning up after their own dogs which makes it very unpleasant for the guests who come in to the venue next. I have many visitors who pick up dog droppings of other people's dogs and don't say a word, and also return toys and balls to the recepticles, but they shouldn't have to! I actually had a guest say to me once, "Oh, I thought you had people to do that!" No, everyone is responsible for cleaning up after themselves before they leave the field. That's how we keep the venue tidy and affordable! I don't think that's an unreasonable expectation. I've had to post a list of reminders at the venue, (thank you, Michele) which I feel terrible about because they're not relevant for the MAJOROTY of Palmhill's guests. It's just a handful of mostly newer guests who aren't being very team friendly. I've met some awesome people and even more so awesome dogs, but sorry to say, if you don't play fair, you will be asked not to come back to this venue. Everyone is welcome including, large groups, highly reactive dogs, special needs dogs- dogs with anxiety, physical handicaps, previous dog park trauma dogs, etc. We love them all and will do our best to make everyone feel welcome! Pup Paradise was true to its name! Amazingly clean, tons of open space, secure gating, and great amenities for pups. I was so excited to leave a review because they truly deserve it. I’m not new to Sniffspot, so i’ve had my fair share in experiences and this by far was one of the best! My dog loves fresh grass and they had plenty of it. I always bring my pup her own water and toys, but it was great to see fresh water in a large bowl and toys available. Riley’s first time seeing chickens, and she did amazing. I would keep this in mind if your dog doesn’t do well with farm life. Riley’s still learning to be around other dogs, and we didn’t encounter one at all. Planning my next visit and even thinking of a subscription for this spot. Thank you for a great experience and opening up your space to us. Riley is tired, happy, and grateful for your yard!

This was the best Sniffspot we have ever been to! Marcos and Crystal really set the space to accommodate dogs. Everything was so well thought out and the area was so clean and organized. They had a cabana with new couches, had cold water, and treats for the dogs. They also supplied fresh water, a kiddie pool, a hose, and lots of areas to sit. The area itself was beautiful, filled with lots of trees and different plants for the dogs to explore. The hosts were so nice and understanding. We will definitely book this space again! This place exceeded my expectations. The space was incredibly clean and well-maintained, which made it a safe and fun environment for my dog to explore. You can really tell the hosts put a lot of thought and effort into making sure every detail is just right, from the setup to the cleanliness. The area was spacious, with plenty of room for my dog to run around and enjoy some off-leash time. There were even a few toys and water available, which was a nice touch. I felt completely at ease knowing my dog was in a secure, fenced-in space. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend this Sniffspot to anyone looking for a safe and enjoyable place for their dog to play!

Our first time using sniffspot and this spot is very clean and thoughtful. I will definitely come back more often since I have 3 crazy and active dogs. They had so much fun and very curious with the chickens coops. We rented for 2 hours and the first 45 mins my dogs already tired but it doesn’t stop them for having fun.

This is probably my favorite SniffSpot we’ve visited! My dog felt like she was at the zoo with the hen house. The property is huge, so it can be hard to keep an eye on your dog if you have a troublemaker. The property is very clean and well-maintained. I would absolutely visit again! I wouldn’t recommend this property for a dog who is not good with hens.

This is what you call dog paradise. We brought our five dogs and they had a blast. Our big dogs loved the automatic ball shooter and loved taking a dip in the puppy pool. The property was well maintained with lots of toys for the dogs. My furbabies couldn’t maintain their excitement. We purchased a toy from the toy chest that was for sale and I let them pick it out. We stayed under the gazebo while enjoying the puppies play and sipped on our complimentary water. Our doggies left tired and without energy, they have been sleeping since. Awesome pad that we will definitely visit again soon. Thank you Marcos and Crystal for you the great set up. The puppies thank you sooo much.

The property is HUGE and beautiful, plenty of different shaded spots for you and your furry kids to hang out in, courtesy toys for the pups to play with, treats that must have been yummy because my pups gobbled them up and there was even a mini pool set up. Boy did they take full advantage of it! My two high energy pups were able to run at full speed across the yard. They truely were in puppy paradise. If your fur kid likes to fetch, this will be perfect for them. Plenty of areas to sniff all the new smells. They didn't even notice the chickens in their big coop for a while! I truely felt my pups were totally pampered, and most importantly safe, and secure. Shoot even I was having such a good time. Before I knew it, our hour was up. What beautiful property! There was plenty of room to run and sniff. There were SO many toys to play with. Plenty of water in the bowls, and it was clean which I appreciate. There was complimentary water for the humans and plenty of shaded seating. Our dogs loved sniffing the chicken coop that is inside the Sniffspot, and we could see 2 neighbor dogs that share a fence, but this didn't cause an issue for us. Directions to enter were straight forward, parking was ample. We will be back soon enough!
