We are also a Training Facility where people can learn to train their pups! We teach anything from Basic Obedience and Puppy socialization classes to more Advanced classes and even some fun classes like Nose Work. We also offer behavior training to help those who have dogs that struggle with behavioral issues. The Canine Lifestyle Center (CLC) A tenth of an acre is perfect for agility or for an indoor place to run and play, away from distractions, and with a private bathroom you won't need to leave the space well here! Training Room West This space is smaller and less private but a great space for those with people loving dogs or those wanting to work on their pup's training privately who may lose focus on you when others are around! Behavior Room This space is a similar size to our Training Room West but is a private space with its own entrance and easy access to the front office if you need to use the bathroom or have a question! This space is climate-controlled and a nice space to play or practice with a small agility course or even introduce your pup to new games such as Nose Work! No One will enter the room you book unless you specifically ask for someone to come in. You will have the space completely to yourself until your booked time is over. Please let us know what space you would like to use when booking by adding your room choice to the "add a note to your host" and stating Canine Lifestyle Center, Training Room West, or Behavior Room. You may also request any amenities we offer to be in that space before you arrive. Great visit to Valkyrie with my son and 2 labs. First time they’ve been allowed to roam free and they loved it! Absolutely beautiful property, all wild and untamed (perfect for my curious sniffers). I recommend wearing pants or jeans as there are a lot of wild roses growing on the property. Had one question before going so I texted the owner who very promptly responded. Note, there are horses on a shared fence line, but it is only along a short edge of the property on the north side, so we stayed in the southern portion of the property as we did not know how our dogs would react. So much room to roam and run. Can’t wait to go back!

I was initially a bit confused about which gate was the dog park and the owner was very responsive when I sent a message! Don’t go through any gates (other than the one with the code!) The dog park is all of the land directly around the house. Wonderful spot!! Nice shade, lots of great areas to play some fetch or just explore. And if it’s hot, your dog can take a dip! My new-ish rescue really loved the opportunity to get some energy out in a spot other than my small back yard!

This place is awesome!! Once you pass the cattle fence with the code, the whole property is fenced so the dogs can just jump out of the car; no leashed transition. There was a little pool we filled up with water by a convenient hose and an obvious trash can for waste. It was peaceful and fun! The dogs loved it!

More than five stars. What a TREASURE! Fence is secure and perfect around the entire property (my whippets checked.) Lovely host provides thorough, easy to follow directions. Friendly horses across a fence. The property is enormous and has everything. There’s tall grass and hills, wildflowers, woodpiles for smelling, birds, fabulous views, pine forest, sunny and shady spots. Bring your dogs here. Borrow a dog so you can come here. A short drive from Colorado Springs but entirely worth the drive to come down from Denver for the morning. We brought camp chairs and a picnic blanket. Just perfect

We had a great time!! It was nice how some areas were mowed down & others were grown out. Perfect to walk, play fetch, or sniff & explore. One of my dogs got a bit muddy in the little water hole (after I accidentally threw her favorite ball in there lol) so it was SO thoughtful & helpful that a water hose was available to rinse the mud off of her!
