Little slice of paradise for the pups! Hopefully this will be a nice relaxed area for your pup to come and play and not have to be stressed. They will have lots of smells to explore in the backyard since I have two dogs of my own. I will hopefully have all the amenities I want set up before opening! Toys, splash pad, herding ball, and more! If you want to use the splash pad, feel free to turn on the hose, I just ask that it be turned off before you leave! Thanks! I am also having Poodini come every Friday morning to clean and sanitize the yard(that’s why there are time blocks). But I really love the idea of getting the turf sanitized weekly! Your dog will love to run on our 1.25 acre property. There are lots of places to explore in our fully fenced yard. We do have farm animals outside (goats, soon pigs, tortoises), as well as our own pets inside, including dogs that can be in or out, depending on your preferences. This spot is a work in progress. We have a big backyard with lots of grass. We also have 2 chickens, a rabbit and a tortoise. They are all locked up in the chicken coop when you bring your dogs. There are misters by the house and lots of shade. We have lots of dog toys to play with and a proper scooper to use. We only have neighbors on the left and right and a big field behind us. We have a half-acre of land in which your dog can roam. There are many trees they can walk and sniff under to keep shady. There's a nice long stretch of open yard so you can throw a ball. The pool is big but not very deep - swimmers rejoice in the summer! The pool is not fenced for those fearful of their dogs around water. Looking for a few nice respectful owners and dogs.

I hope to be back on my feet quickly and I am looking forward to reopening our Sniffspot for all of your darling pups.** Does life feel “ruff” sometimes? Maybe it’s time to run free in an enclosed private backyard with lots of grass. Or are you looking to “make your mark” in this world? Or perhaps you just want to “paws” and relax in the shade. If so, then Shaggy’s Shack Sniffspot is for you....and your awesome human, too! Shaggy’s Shack in Tempe has lots of grass for running, chasing balls, and doing the zoomies! It’s fully enclosed with a 5 to 6-foot block wall and more than 25 trees and bushes to explore. You can play fetch with tons of toys and there’s a designated digging spot, too. Or maybe you just want to cool off in a diving pool that’s professionally cleaned every Wednesday–even during Tempe’s cold months. Oh, and Shaggy’s Shack also has features shaded chairs for your human to relax as they watch you explore, play fetch, swim, and have a pawsitively good time. Shaggy’s Shack’s residents (and their humans) will be home but out of sight. The entire lot is just shy of a half-acre, and it’s conveniently located in Tempe. Many dogs live in the area, they may bark in greeting when they hear you. We offer many pawsome amenities at Shaggy’s Shack, including bags and a trash can for your nature calls and a disposable water dish with lots of fresh water (and water for your human, too). Clean towels for drying off after you’ve doggie-paddled in the pool are also provided. Of course, use of the pool is at your and your human’s own risk. The pool is chlorinated and not heated in the winter months. Your human may use the pool to get a closer look at your pawsome doggie paddling technique. While we provide towels for you, we ask that your human brings their own towels. There is no fence or gate around the pool, and we strongly encourage you to bring your own doggie life vest if you do decide to get your paws wet. Discounts are available for multiple dogs. Visit times can be extended if there is availability. Respecting Sniffspot’s 30-minute transition time between visit times is very important. So that no one gets hurt or gets into something that could be dangerous, glass, alcohol and smoking are prohibited. All pups need to be up-to-date on all vaccinations to keep our resident and visiting doggos healthy. Since Shaggy’s Shack Sniffspot is for dogs, please be mindful of your doggie to human ratio; kids are welcome but must be 100% supervised, especially around the ungated, unfenced pool. Our goal is to make your time at Shaggy’s Shack loads of fun for you and your human so you’ll come back again and again. When Tucson gets "tornados"... NOT AVAILABLE DUE TO STORM DAMAGE. TBD when it will be available again. High fencing, secure backyard. Has grass, a digging sand pit, canopy trees and shade sails, covered patio with seating, water available at hose (do NOT use the valve under the coffee can, see picture, as that controls our irrigation). Two water bowls available, one with a stand for taller dogs. Please dump out water and turn bowls upside down as shown in the picture to prevent mosquitos. There is some sunscreen and mosquito insect repelling incense sticks on the patio table. Also a spray bottle with a mix of white vinegar and water for dogs is available to redirect negative behavior if needed. Please pick up poop and put it in the black trash. Bug zapper and lights are on timers and will turn on at 7pm. Please be aware we do have irrigation throughout the backyard, so please try to redirect your dog if digging outside the sandpit. You can park on the east side of the house in the dirt, closest to the entry gate) or in the driveway.
